Judges 20:45

The survivors [of Benjamin] turned and fled toward the wilderness to the rock of Rimmon, and Israel caught five thousand of them on the roads and overtook them at Gidom and killed two thousand of them.

And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them.

Five divisions turned to escape to the wilderness, to Rimmon Rock, but the Israelites caught and slaughtered them on roads.Keeping the pressure on, the Israelites brought down two more divisions.

Some men of Benjamin turned back. They ran toward the desert to the rock of Rimmon. As they did, the Israelites struck down 5,000 of them along the roads. They kept chasing the men of Benjamin all the way to Gidom. Along the way they struck down 2,000 more.

وَعِنْدَمَا وَلَّتْ فُلُولُهُمْ هَارِبَةً إِلَى الصَّحْرَاءِ إِلَى صَخْرَةِ رِمُّونَ، تَمَكَّنَ الإِسْرَائِيلِيُّونَ مِنَ الْقَضَاءِ عَلَى خَمْسَةِ آلافٍ مِنْهُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، ثُمَّ جَدُّوا فِي تَعَقُّبِهِمْ إِلَى جِدْعُومَ فَقَتَلُوا مِنْهُمْ أَيْضاً أَلْفَيْ رَجُلٍ.

Resten af hæren flygtede videre mod nord ind i ørkenen i retning af Rimmons klippe, og endnu 5000 mand blev hugget ned undervejs. 2000 mand nåede frem til Gidom, inden de blev dræbt.

Les survivants s’enfuirent en direction du désert vers le rocher de Rimmôn[d]. En chemin, 5 000 hommes furent tués, puis en les serrant de près jusqu’à Guideôm, les Israélites en abattirent encore 2 000 de plus.

生き残った兵は荒野へ逃げ、リモンの岩に向かいましたが、その途中で五千人が殺され、さらにギデオム付近で二千人が倒されました。 46-47 こうしてベニヤミン族は、一日で二万五千の勇士を失ったのです。リモンの岩へ逃げ延びたのはたった六百人で、四か月間そこにこもっていました。

När de vände och flydde ut i öknen bort mot Rimmons klippa, dödades 5 000 utmed vägen och de förföljde benjaminiterna och dödade ytterligare 2 000 närmare Gidom.
