Judges 1:19

The Lord was with Judah, and [the tribe of] Judah took possession of the hill country, but they could not dispossess and drive out those inhabiting the valley because they had iron chariots.

And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.

وَكَانَ الرَّبُّ مَعَ أَبْنَاءِ يَهُوذَا فَتَمَلَّكُوا الْجَبَلَ، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ أَخْفَقُوا فِي طَرْدِ سُكَّانِ الْوَادِي لأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَمْلِكُونَ مَرْكَبَاتٍ حَدِيدِيَّةً.

Herren hjalp Judas stamme med at indtage højlandet, men de klarede ikke at få alle folkene i lavlandet drevet bort, fordi de havde stridsvogne af jern.

主の助けがあったので、山地一帯の住民を滅ぼすことができたのです。ただ、谷の住民は鉄の戦車を持っていたので、征服できませんでした。

De Here hielp de mannen van Juda het bergland te veroveren, maar zij slaagden er niet in de mensen van de laagvlakte te verdrijven, want die beschikten over ijzeren strijdwagens.

O Senhor estava com os homens de Judá. Eles ocuparam a serra central, mas não conseguiram expulsar os habitantes dos vales, pois estes possuíam carros de guerra feitos de ferro.

Herren hjälpte Juda att inta hela bergsbygden, men folket som bodde på slätten kunde de inte besegra, för de hade stridsvagnar av järn.
