Joshua 8:33

All Israel, the stranger as well as the native born [among them], with their elders and officers and their judges, stood on either side of the ark before the Levitical priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord. Half of them stood in front of Mount Gerizim and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, just as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded at first to bless the people of Israel.

And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this side the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.

All Israel was there, foreigners and citizens alike, with their elders, officers, and judges, standing on opposite sides of the Chest, facing the Levitical priests who carry God’s Covenant Chest. Half of the people stood with their backs to Mount Gerizim and half with their backs to Mount Ebal to bless the People of Israel, just as Moses the servant of God had instructed earlier. 34-35 After that, he read out everything written in The Revelation, the Blessing and the Curse, everything in the Book of The Revelation. There wasn’t a word of all that Moses commanded that Joshua didn’t read to the entire congregation—men, women, children, and foreigners who had been with them on the journey.

They were standing on both sides of the ark of the covenant of the Lord. All the Israelites, including outsiders and citizens, were there. Israel’s elders, officials and judges were also there. All of them faced the priests, who were Levites. They were carrying the ark. Half of the people stood in front of Mount Gerizim. The other half stood in front of Mount Ebal. Moses, the servant of the Lord, had earlier told them to do it. Moses told them to do it when he had given directions to bless the Israelites.

Then all the Israelites—foreigners and native-born alike—along with the elders, officers, and judges, were divided into two groups. One group stood in front of Mount Gerizim, the other in front of Mount Ebal. Each group faced the other, and between them stood the Levitical priests carrying the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant. This was all done according to the commands that Moses, the servant of the Lord, had previously given for blessing the people of Israel.

وَكَانَ جَمِيعُ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ، غُرَبَاءَ وَمُوَاطِنِينَ، مَعَ شُيُوخِهِمْ وَعُرَفَائِهِمْ وَقُضَاتِهِمْ يَقِفُونَ إِلَى جَانِبَيْ تَابُوتِ عَهْدِ الرَّبِّ فِي مُوَاجَهَةِ الْكَهَنَةِ اللّاوِيِّينَ حَامِلِي التَّابُوتِ. وَقَفَ نِصْفُهُمْ أَمَامَ جَبَلِ جِرِزِّيمَ، وَوَقَفَ النِّصْفُ الآخَرُ أَمَامَ جَبَلِ عِيبَالَ تَنْفِيذاً لِتَعْلِيمَاتِ مُوسَى عَبْدِ الرَّبِّ السَّابِقَةِ الَّتِي أَصْدَرَهَا بِشَأْنِ بَرَكَةِ الشَّعْبِ.

Hele folket, deres ledere, administratorer og dommere samt de fremmede iblandt dem, blev derpå delt i to grupper. Den ene gruppe stillede sig ved foden af Garizims bjerg, og den anden gruppe ved foden af Ebals bjerg. De to grupper stod altså over for hinanden, og præsterne, som bar pagtens ark, stillede sig midt imellem dem. Det skete alt sammen, sådan som Moses havde forordnet, at Israels folk skulle velsignes.

Die levitischen Priester standen bei der Bundeslade des Herrn. Auf beiden Seiten der Bundeslade hatte sich das ganze Volk versammelt, Israeliten und Ausländer, auch die führenden Männer, Richter und Beamten. Sie alle waren der Bundeslade zugewandt, die eine Hälfte des Volkes stand mit dem Rücken zum Berg Garizim, die andere zum Berg Ebal. Mose hatte befohlen, dies zu tun und das Volk zu segnen, sobald es im Land Kanaan angelangt war.

Sa ila tunga nagatindog ang mga pari nga mga kaliwat ni Levi nga nagatuwang sang Kahon sang Kasugtanan sang Ginoo. Si Moises nga alagad sang Ginoo nagsugo sa ila sadto anay sa paghimo sini sa tion nga batunon nila ang bendisyon.

それから、長老、裁判官、在留外国人も含むイスラエル人全員は二組に分けられ、一方はゲリジム山のふもとに、もう一方はエバル山のふもとに立ちました。両者の間には、主の契約の箱をかつぐ祭司たちが全員を祝福しようと待ちかまえていました。すべて、先にモーセが命じたとおりに行われました。

Het hele volk van Israël, inclusief de leiders, legeraanvoerders, rechters en de buitenlanders die bij hen waren, verdeelde zich daarop in twee groepen. De ene groep aan de voet van de berg Gerizim, de andere aan de voet van de berg Ebal. Daar tussenin stonden de priesters met de ark, klaar om hun zegen uit te spreken. Dit alles werd precies gedaan volgens de aanwijzingen die Mozes vroeger had gegeven.

Todo o Israel, estrangeiros e naturais da terra, com os seus líderes, os seus oficiais e os seus juízes, estavam em pé dos dois lados da arca da aliança do Senhor, diante dos sacerdotes levitas, que a carregavam. Allt folket i Israel, tillsammans med de äldste, ledarna och domarna och även främlingar, stod på båda sidor om Herrens förbundsark inför dess bärare, de levitiska prästerna. Den ena hälften vände sig mot berget Gerisim och den andra mot Eval. Allt gjordes enligt de befallningar som Herrens tjänare Mose långt tidigare hade gett dem för tillfällen då Israel skulle välsignas.
