Joshua 4:21

He said to the sons of Israel, “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, ‘What do these stones mean?’

And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

He said to the sons of [i]Israel, “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’

Then he spoke to the Israelites. He said, “In days to come, your children after you will ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’

He said to the Israelites, “In the future when your descendants ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’

He said to the Israelites, ‘In the future when your descendants ask their parents, “What do these stones mean?”

Then Joshua said to the Israelites, “In the future your children will ask, ‘What do these stones mean?’

وَقَالَ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ: «إِذَا سَأَلَ بَنُوكُمْ آبَاءَهُمْ فِي الأَجْيَالِ الْمُقْبِلَةِ: مَا هَذِهِ الْحِجَارَةُ؟

Så gentog han over for hele Israels folk, hvad han allerede tidligere havde sagt: „I fremtiden, når jeres børn spørger: ‚Hvad betyder de mindesten?’

Er sagte zu den Israeliten: »Wenn eure Nachkommen euch eines Tages fragen werden, was diese Steine bedeuten,
