Joshua 10:13

So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped,Until the nation [of Israel] took vengeance upon their enemies.Is it not written in the Book of Jashar? So the sun stood still in the middle of the sky and was in no hurry to go down for about a whole day.

Og solen og månen stod stille, indtil israelitterne havde tilintetgjort deres fjender. Er det ikke sådan, der står i „Den Retskafnes Bog”?Den dag stod solen stille midt på himlen og ventede næsten en hel dag med at gå ned.

Da waren die Sonne und der Mond stehen geblieben, bis die Israeliten sich an ihren Feinden gerächt hatten.Dieses Ereignis wird auch im »Buch des Rechtschaffenen« beschrieben. Die Sonne stand fast einen Tag lang hoch am Himmel und lief nicht nach Westen.

En de zon stond stil en de maan bleef staan, totdat het Israëlitische leger de vijand had vernietigd! Deze gebeurtenis staat uitgebreider beschreven in het Boek van de Oprechten. Zo bleef de zon een hele dag stilstaan aan de hemel!

Na verdade, tanto o Sol como a Lua pararam, enquanto o exército israelita destruía os seus inimigos. Isto, aliás, está escrito no Livro do Justo. Foi assim que o Sol parou no firmamento quase um dia inteiro.

果然太阳停住了，月亮也不动了，直到以色列人杀败敌人。《雅煞珥书》记载了这事。约有一天的时间，太阳停留在天空，没有西沉。

於 是 日 头 停 留 ， 月 亮 止 住 ， 直 等 国 民 向 敌 人 报 仇 。 这 事 岂 不 是 写 在 雅 煞 珥 书 上 麽 ？ 日 头 在 天 当 中 停 住 ， 不 急 速 下 落 ， 约 有 一 日 之 久 。
