Jonah 1:14

Then they called on the Lord and said, “Please, O Lord, do not let us perish because of taking this man’s life, and do not make us accountable for innocent blood; for You, O Lord, have done as You pleased.”

Wherefore they cried unto the Lord, and said, We beseech thee, O Lord, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O Lord, hast done as it pleased thee.

Then they prayed to God, “O God! Don’t let us drown because of this man’s life, and don’t blame us for his death. You are God. Do what you think is best.”

Then they called on the Lord and said, “We earnestly pray, O Lord, do not let us perish on account of this man’s life and do not put innocent blood on us; for You, O Lord, have done as You have pleased.”

Then they cried out to the Lord. They prayed, “Please, Lord, don’t let us die for taking this man’s life. After all, he might not be guilty of doing anything wrong. So don’t hold us responsible for killing him. Lord, you always do what you want to.”

فَصَرَخُوا إِلَى الرَّبِّ قَائِلِينَ: «أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ لَا تُهْلِكْنَا مِنْ أَجْلِ حَيَاةِ هَذَا الرَّجُلِ، وَلا تُحَمِّلْنَا دَماً بَرِيئاً لأَنَّكَ يَا رَبُّ فَعَلْتَ كَمَا شِئْتَ».

Så råbte de til Jonas’ gud, Herren: „Åh, Herre, lad os ikke omkomme på grund af denne mand! Gør os ikke ansvarlige for hans død, når vi kaster ham i havet. Du har jo selv sendt denne orkan!”

他们只好呼求耶和华，说：“耶和华啊，求你不要因这个人的性命而毁灭我们，不要因我们杀害无辜的人而怪罪我们，因为你耶和华按自己的旨意行事。”

他 们 便 求 告 耶 和 华 说 ： 耶 和 华 啊 ， 我 们 恳 求 你 ， 不 要 因 这 人 的 性 命 使 我 们 死 亡 ， 不 要 使 流 无 辜 血 的 罪 归 与 我 们 ； 因 为 你 ─ 耶 和 华 是 随 自 己 的 意 旨 行 事 。

他們只好呼求耶和華，說：「耶和華啊，求你不要因這個人的性命而毀滅我們，不要因我們殺害無辜的人而怪罪我們，因為你耶和華按自己的旨意行事。」
