John 9:17

Accordingly they said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?” And he said, “[It must be that] He is a [c]prophet!”

They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

They came back at the blind man, “You’re the expert. He opened your eyes. What do you say about him?”He said, “He is a prophet.” 18-19 The Jews didn’t believe it, didn’t believe the man was blind to begin with. So they called the parents of the man now bright-eyed with sight. They asked them, “Is this your son, the one you say was born blind? So how is it that he now sees?” 20-23 His parents said, “We know he is our son, and we know he was born blind. But we don’t know how he came to see—haven’t a clue about who opened his eyes. Why don’t you ask him? He’s a grown man and can speak for himself.” (His parents were talking like this because they were intimidated by the Jewish leaders, who had already decided that anyone who took a stand that this was the Messiah would be kicked out of the meeting place. That’s why his parents said, “Ask him. He’s a grown man.”)

So they *said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?” And he said, “He is a prophet.”

Dann erkundigten sich die Pharisäer noch einmal bei dem Mann, der blind gewesen war: »Durch ihn kannst du jetzt also sehen? Was meinst denn du, wer dieser Mann ist?« »Er ist ein von Gott gesandter Prophet«, antwortete er.

Etter en tid vendte fariseerne seg til mannen som hadde vært blind, og spurte: ”Hva sier du selv om ham? Det var jo du som fikk synet ditt.” Mannen svarte: ”Han må være en profet[c].”

Os fariseus voltaram-se para o antigo cego e perguntaram-lhe:“Esse homem que te abriu os olhos, quem achas tu que é?”O homem respondeu: “É um profeta.”

Znova sa teda obrátili na uzdraveného: A čo si o ňom myslíš ty?"Určite je to Boží prorok," odpovedal im.

Och igen frågade de mannen som hade varit blind: ”Vad säger du själv om honom? Det var ju du som fick din syn.” Mannen svarade då: ”Han är en profet.”
