John 8:48

The Jews answered Him, “Are we not right when we say You are a [e]Samaritan and [that You] have a demon [and are under its power]?”

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

The Jews then said, “That clinches it. We were right all along when we called you a Samaritan and said you were crazy—demon-possessed!” 49-51 Jesus said, “I’m not crazy. I simply honor my Father, while you dishonor me. I am not trying to get anything for myself. God intends something gloriously grand here and is making the decisions that will bring it about. I say this with absolute confidence. If you practice what I’m telling you, you’ll never have to look death in the face.” 52-53 At this point the Jews said, “Now we know you’re crazy. Abraham died. The prophets died. And you show up saying, ‘If you practice what I’m telling you, you’ll never have to face death, not even a taste.’ Are you greater than Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you think you are!” 54-56 Jesus said, “If I turned the spotlight on myself, it wouldn’t amount to anything. But my Father, the same One you say is your Father, put me here at this time and place of splendor. You haven’t recognized him in this. But I have. If I, in false modesty, said I didn’t know what was going on, I would be as much of a liar as you are. But I do know, and I am doing what he says. Abraham—your ‘father’—with jubilant faith looked down the corridors of history and saw my day coming. He saw it and cheered.”

The Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

Los judíos le contestaron muy irritados: —¡Con razón decíamos que tú eres un samaritano, y que estás endemoniado!

The Jews answered Jesus, “Aren’t we right when we say you are a Samaritan? Aren’t you controlled by a demon?”

The Jews answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?”

The Jews answered him, ‘Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?’

The people retorted, “You Samaritan devil! Didn’t we say all along that you were possessed by a demon?”

Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Me ba, wo gyidi ama wo ho ayɛ wo den. Fa asomdwoe kɔ.”

فَقَالَ الْيَهُودُ: «أَلَسْنَا نَقُولُ الْحَقَّ عِنْدَمَا نَقُولُ إِنَّكَ سَامِرِيٌّ وَإِنَّ فِيكَ شَيْطَاناً؟»

Mitubag kang Jesus ang mga kadagkoan sa mga Judio, “Tinuod diay ang among giingon nga ikaw usa ka Samarianhon,[d] ug gisudlan sa daotan nga espiritu.”

„Vždyť to říkáme, jsi odrodilec a blázen,“ křičeli na něj Židé.

„Din samaritaner!” snerrede de. „Har vi ikke hele tiden sagt, at du er besat af en ond ånd?”

»Also hatten wir doch recht«, schimpften die Juden. »Du bist ein Samariter, von bösen Geistern besessen!«

―¿No tenemos razón al decir que eres un samaritano, y que estás endemoniado? —replicaron los judíos.

"בצדק קראנו לך שומרוני!" קראו בחזרה בחימה. "שד נכנס בך!"

Nagsabat kay Jesus ang mga lider sang mga Judio, “Matuod gali ang amon ginasiling nga ikaw isa ka Samariahanon,[d] kag ginsudlan sang malaot nga espiritu.”

'Nismo li mi dobro rekli da si Samarijanac i da si opsjednut zloduhom?'

«Samaritano! Straniero! Demonio!» urlarono i capi giudei. «Non lʼabbiamo sempre detto tutti che sei indemoniato?!»

「おまえはサマリヤ人だ！ よそ者だ！ やっぱり悪霊に取りつかれているのだ。」ユダヤ人たちはわめき立てました。

Folket som hørte dette, ropte i sinne til Jesus: ”Du er ikke noe annet enn en samaritan[l] som er besatt av en ond Ånd!”

犹 太 人 回 答 说 ： 我 们 说 你 是 撒 玛 利 亚 人 ， 并 且 是 鬼 附 着 的 ， 这 话 岂 不 正 对 麽 ？

猶太人對祂說：「我們說你是撒瑪利亞人[c]，被鬼附身了，難道不對嗎？」
