Job 9:33

“There is no arbitrator between us,Who could lay his hand upon us both [would that there were].

Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.

“There is no umpire between us,Who may lay his hand upon us both.

I wish someone would settle matters between us. I wish someone would bring us together.

If only there were someone to mediate between us, someone to bring us together,

وَلَيْسَ مِنْ حَكَمٍ بَيْنَنَا يَضَعُ يَدَهُ عَلَى كِلَيْنَا.

Var der dog bare en mellemmand, der kunne skabe forsoning imellem os,

Aber es gibt keinen, der zwischen dir und mir entscheidetund für Recht sorgt[b].
