Job 9:24

“The earth is given into the hands of the wicked;He covers the faces of its judges [so that they are blind to justice].If it is not He, then who is it [that is responsible for all this injustice]?

The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?

Suppose a nation falls into the power of sinful people. Then God makes its judges blind to the truth. If he isn’t the one doing it, who is?

فَقَدْ عَهِدَ بِالأَرْضِ إِلَى يَدِ الشِّرِّيرِ، وَأَعْمَى عُيُونَ قُضَاتِهَا. إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ هُوَ الْفَاعِلُ، إِذاً مَنْ هُوَ؟

Når et land falder i en ond mands magt, bliver dets dommere blinde for retfærdigheden.Hvis det ikke er Gud, der står bag, hvem er det så?

Fällt ein Land Tyrannen in die Händeund werden alle Richter blind für das Recht,so hat Gott das getan! Wenn nicht er – wer sonst?
