“Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh?Can the rushes or reed grass grow without water?

Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?

أَيَنْمُو الْبَرْدِيُّ حَيْثُ لَا مُسْتَنْقَعَ، أَمْ تَنْبُتُ الْحَلْفَاءُ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَاءٍ؟

Kan sivene vokse, hvis sumpen tørrer ud? Kan rørgræs klare sig, hvis vandet forsvinder?

›Die Papyrusstaude steht nur dort,wo Sumpf ist,und ohne Wasser wächst kein Schilf.
