Job 34:3

“For the ear puts words to the testAs the palate tastes food.

For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

“For the ear tests wordsAs the palate tastes food.

Our tongues tell us what tastes good and what doesn’t. And our ears tell us what’s true and what isn’t.

For the ear tests words as the tongue tastes food.

Job said, ‘The ear tests the words it hears just as the mouth distinguishes between foods.’

لأَنَّ الأُذُنَ تُمَحِّصُ الأَقْوَالَ كَمَا يَتَذَوَّقُ الْحَنَكُ الطَّعَامَ.

Man må vurdere alt, hvad man hører, ligesom man smager på maden, før man spiser den.

Denn unser Ohr prüft die Worte,so wie der Gaumen die Speise kostet.
