Job 3:17

“There [in death] the wicked cease from raging,And there the weary are at rest.

There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.

“There the wicked cease from raging,And there the [h]weary are at rest.

In the grave, sinful people don’t cause trouble anymore. And there tired people find rest.

There the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest.

For in death the wicked cause no trouble, and the weary are at rest.

فَهُنَاكَ يَكُفُّ الأَشْرَارُ عَنْ إِثَارَةِ الْمَتَاعِبِ، وَهُنَاكَ يَرْتَاحُ الْمُرْهَقُونَ.

I døden bliver de gudløse stille, dér kan de trætte hvile ud.

Bei den Toten können die Gottlosen nichts mehr anrichten,und ihre Opfer haben endlich Ruhe.

Là, ceux qui sont méchants |cessent de tourmenter,et ceux qui sont à bout de forces |peuvent se reposer.

死んでしまえば、悪い者ももう人に迷惑をかけず、疲れきった者も休むことができる。

Want in de dood maken de goddelozen geen moeilijkheden meer en hebben de vermoeiden rust.

Ali os ímpios já não se agitam,e ali os cansados permanecem em repouso;

É que na morte o malvado cessa de perturbare os que estão cansados da vida repousam.

Acolo cei răi nu te mai necăjesc şi acolo cei obosiţi se odihnesc.

Där rasar de onda inte mer, och där får de uttröttade vila.
