Job 29:7

“When I went out to the gate of the city,When I took my seat [as a city father] in the square,

When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street!

“When I went out to the gate of the city,When I [d]took my seat in the square,

“In those days I went to the city gate. I took my seat as a member of the council.

“When I went to the gate of the city and took my seat in the public square,

‘When I went to the gate of the city and took my seat in the public square,

“Those were the days when I went to the city gate and took my place among the honored leaders.

حِينَ كُنْتُ أَخْرُجُ إِلَى بَوَّابَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ، وَأَحْتَلُّ فِي السَّاحَةِ مَجْلِسِي،

Jeg havde min plads blandt lederne i byen og sad som dommer på byens torv.

Wenn ich zum Stadttor hinaufging,um dort im Rat meinen Platz einzunehmen,

cuando ocupaba mi puesto en el concejo de la ciudad,[a] y en la plaza pública tomaba asiento,

あのころ、私は町の門に行くと、長老の席に座った。

“그 때는 내가 성문 광장으로 가서 성의 어른들과 자리를 같이하기도 하였다.

In die tijd liep ik nog naar de stadspoort en nam daar mijn plaats in tussen de gerespecteerde leiders.

“Quando eu ia à porta da cidadee tomava assento na praça pública;

Nesses tempos ia até à entrada da cidadee lá me sentava entre os respeitáveis anciãos.
