Job 23:8

“Behold, I go forward (to the east), but He is not there;I go backward (to the west), but I cannot perceive Him;

Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:

“Behold, I go forward but He is not there,And backward, but I cannot perceive Him;

“But if I go to the east, God isn’t there. If I go to the west, I don’t find him.

“But if I go to the east, he is not there; if I go to the west, I do not find him.

‘But if I go to the east, he is not there; if I go to the west, I do not find him.

I go east, but he is not there. I go west, but I cannot find him.

وَلَكِنْ هَا أَنَا أَتَّجِهُ شَرْقاً فَلا أَجِدُهُ، وَإِنْ قَصَدْتُ غَرْباً لَا أَشْعُرُ بِهِ،

Men går jeg mod øst, finder jeg ham ikke. Går jeg mod vest, er han heller ikke der.

Doch ich kann ihn nirgends finden!Ich habe ihn im Osten gesucht – er ist nicht dort,und auch im Westen entdecke ich ihn nicht.

»Si me dirijo hacia el este, no está allí; si me encamino al oeste, no lo encuentro.

Mais, si je vais à l’est, |il n’y est pas,si je vais à l’ouest, |je ne l’aperçois pas.

ところが、いくら神を探してもむだなのだ。あちこち尋ねても見つからない。

“그런데 내가 동쪽으로 가도 그가 계시지 않고 서쪽으로 가도 보이지 않으며

Maar mijn zoeken heeft geen resultaat. Ik zoek Hem overal, maar ik kan Hem niet vinden.

“Mas, se vou para o oriente, lá ele não está;se vou para o ocidente, não o encontro.

No entanto, se o busco a oriente, lá ele não está;se me volto para o ocidente, não o descubro.

Men om jag söker honom i öster är han inte där, och går jag åt väster finns han inte där heller.

“แต่ถึงข้าไปทางตะวันออก พระองค์ก็ไม่อยู่ที่นั่นถ้าข้าไปทางตะวันตก ก็ไม่พบพระองค์

“然而，我去东边，祂不在那里；我到西边，也找不到祂。

只 是 ， 我 往 前 行 ， 他 不 在 那 里 ， 往 後 退 ， 也 不 能 见 他 。
