Job 22:8

“But the land is possessed by the man with power,And the favored and honorable man dwells in it.

But as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man dwelt in it.

“But the earth belongs to the mighty man,And the honorable man dwells in it.

You did it even though you were honored and powerful. You owned land and lived on it.

though you were a powerful man, owning land— an honored man, living on it.

You probably think the land belongs to the powerful and only the privileged have a right to it!

صَاحِبُ الْقُوَّةِ اسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ، وَذُو الْحُظْوَةِ أَقَامَ فِيهَا.

Selv om du var umådelig rig og havde stor magt og indflydelse,

Dabei bist du mächtig und angesehen;dir gehört das Land, in dem du wohnst!

Hombre poderoso, te adueñaste de la tierra; hombre ilustre, en ella te asentaste.
