Job 19:28

“If you say, ‘How shall we [continue to] persecute him?’And ‘What pretext for a case against him can we find [since we claim the root of these afflictions is found in him]?’

But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?

“If you say, ‘How shall we persecute him?’And ‘[m]What pretext for a case against him can we find?’

“You might say, ‘Let’s keep bothering Job. After all, he’s the cause of all his suffering.’

“If you say, ‘How we will hound him, since the root of the trouble lies in him,[g]’

“How dare you go on persecuting me, saying, ‘It’s his own fault’?

وَإِنْ قُلْتُمْ مَاذَا نَعْمَلُ لِنَضْطَهِدَهُ، لأَنَّ مَصْدَرَ الْمَتَاعِبِ كَامِنٌ فِيهِ؟

Hvor vover I da at anklage mig og påstå, at min lidelse er en velfortjent straf?

Aber wenn ihr sagt:›Wir wollen Hiob belauernund etwas finden, das seine Schuld beweist!‹,

»Vosotros decís: “Vamos a acosarlo, porque en él está la raíz del mal”.

»Ustedes dicen: “Vamos a acosarlo, porque en él está la raíz del mal”.

Vous qui vous demandez : |« Comment allons-nous le poursuivre ? »et qui trouvez en moi |la racine du mal,

“Kon padayunon ninyo ang pag-akusar sa akon nga nagaantos ako tungod sa akon sala,

なのにあなたたちは、私の刑が確定したかのように、臆面もなく私を責め立てている。

“너희는 ‘우리가 어떻게 그를 괴롭혀 줄까?’ 하고 나를 칠 구실을 찾겠지만

Hoe durven jullie mij te blijven beschuldigen, alsof ik al schuldig ben bevonden?

“Se vocês disserem:‘Vejamos como vamos persegui-lo,pois a raiz do problema está nele[f]’,

Como é que ousam continuar a perseguir-me,como se tivessem provas garantidas da minha culpabilidade?

Veţi spune atunci: «De ce îl urmăream?»Şi astfel rădăcina adevărului va fi găsită în mine[g].

你们说祸根在我身上，还想继续迫害我。

你 们 若 说 ： 我 们 逼 迫 他 要 何 等 地 重 呢 ？ 惹 事 的 根 乃 在 乎 他 ；

你們說禍根在我身上，還想繼續迫害我。
