Job 18:5

“Indeed, the light of the wicked will be put out,And the flame of his fire will not shine.

Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

“Indeed, the light of the wicked goes out,And the [c]flame of his fire gives no light.

“The lamps of sinful people are blown out. Their flames will never burn again.

“The lamp of a wicked man is snuffed out; the flame of his fire stops burning.

“Surely the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. The sparks of their fire will not glow.

أَجَلْ! إِنَّ نُورَ الأَشْرَارِ يَنْطَفِئُ وَلَهِيبَ نَارِهِمْ لَا يُضِيءُ.

Synd fører nu engang til straf, og de ondes livslys slukkes.
