Job 14:8

“Though its roots grow old in the earthAnd its stump dies in the dry soil,

Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;

“Though its roots grow old in the groundAnd its stump dies in the dry soil,

Its roots may grow old in the ground. Its stump may die in the soil.

حَتَّى لَوْ شَاخَتْ أُصُولُهَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَاتَ جِذْعُهَا فِي التُّرَابِ،

Selv om rødderne i jorden er gamle, og stubben synes død i markens muld,

Auch wenn seine Wurzeln im Erdreich absterbenund der Stumpf langsam im Boden vertrocknet,

Suas raízes poderão envelhecer no soloe seu tronco morrer no chão;

Mesmo quando as raízes começam a envelhecer, debaixo da terra,e o caule fica menos tenro.

Deşi rădăcina îi îmbătrâneşte în pământ şi-i piere trunchiul în ţărână,

Även om dess rötter åldras i jorden och dess stubbe tynar bort,

虽然树根在土里衰老，树干在地里死去，

其 根 虽 然 衰 老 在 地 里 ， 干 也 死 在 土 中 ，

雖然樹根在土裡衰老，樹幹在地裡死去，
