Jeremiah 9:23

Thus says the Lord, “Let not the one who is wise and skillful boast in his insight; let not the one who is mighty and powerful boast in his strength; let not the one who is rich boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] abundance;

Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches;

The Lord says,“Do not let wise people brag about how wise they are. Do not let strong people boast about how strong they are. Do not let rich people brag about how rich they are.

This is what the Lord says:“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches,

This is what the Lord says:“Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches.

«فَلا يَفْتَخِرَنَّ الْحَكِيمُ بِحِكْمَتِهِ، وَلا يَزْهُوَنَّ الْجَبَّارُ بِجَبَرُوتِهِ، وَلا الْغَنِيُّ بِثَرْوَتِهِ.

Nej, hvis nogen vil rose sig, så lad dem rose sig af dette ene: at de kender mig og forstår, at mine handlinger på jorden er motiveret af nåde, barmhjertighed og retfærdighed, og at jeg glæder mig over dem, der handler på samme måde som jeg.

Nein, Grund zum Stolz hat nur, wer mich erkennt und begreift, dass ich der Herr bin. Ich bin barmherzig und sorge auf der Erde für Recht und Gerechtigkeit. Denn daran habe ich Gefallen! Denn all diese Völker halten sich zwar an die Vorschrift der Beschneidung, aber ihr Herz gehört mir nicht[c] – und selbst in Israel ist es nicht anders!«

主は命じます。「知恵のある者は、知恵をひけらかしてはいけない。力のある者は力を、金持ちは富を誇ってはいけない。

여호와께서 말씀하신다. “지혜로운 자는 자기 지혜를 자랑하지 말고 강한 자는 자기 힘을 자랑하지 말며 부자는 자기의 부요함을 자랑하지 말아라.

De Here zegt: ‘Laat de wijze man niet pochen op zijn wijsheid, de sterke niet op zijn kracht en de rijke niet op zijn rijkdom.

Så säger Herren: ”Den vise ska inte skryta över sin vishet och inte heller den starke över sin styrka eller den rike över sin rikedom.

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า“คนฉลาด อย่าโอ้อวดสติปัญญาของตนคนแข็งแรง อย่าโอ้อวดพละกำลังของตนคนรวยก็อย่าโอ้อวดทรัพย์สมบัติของตน

耶和华说：“智者不要夸耀自己的智慧，勇士不要夸耀自己的力量，富人不要夸耀自己的财富。

耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 智 慧 人 不 要 因 他 的 智 慧 夸 口 ， 勇 士 不 要 因 他 的 勇 力 夸 口 ， 财 主 不 要 因 他 的 财 物 夸 口 。

耶和華說：「智者不要誇耀自己的智慧，勇士不要誇耀自己的力量，富人不要誇耀自己的財富。
