Jeremiah 8:19

Behold, [hear the sound of] the cry of the daughter of my people from the distant land [of Babylon]:“Is not the Lord in Zion? Is not her King within her?”[But the Lord answers] “Why have they provoked Me to anger with their carved images and with foreign idols?”

Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the Lord in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?

Behold, listen! The cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land:“Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King not within her?”“Why have they provoked Me with their graven images, with foreign [e]idols?”

Listen to the cries of my people from a land far away.They cry out, “Isn’t the Lord in Zion? Isn’t its King there anymore?” The Lord says, “Why have they made me so angry by worshiping their wooden gods?Why have they made me angry with their worthless statues of gods from other lands?”

Listen to the cry of my people from a land far away:“Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King no longer there?”“Why have they aroused my anger with their images, with their worthless foreign idols?”

Listen to the weeping of my people; it can be heard all across the land.“Has the Lord abandoned Jerusalem?[b]” the people ask. “Is her King no longer there?”“Oh, why have they provoked my anger with their carved idols and their worthless foreign gods?” says the Lord.

هُوَذَا صَرْخَةُ اسْتِغَاثَةِ أُورُشَلِيمَ تَتَجَاوَبُ مِنْ أَرْضٍ نَائِيَةٍ قَائِلَةً: «أَلَيْسَ الرَّبُّ فِي صِهْيَوْنَ؟ أَلَيْسَ مَلِكُهَا فِيهَا؟ لِمَاذَا أَثَارُوا غَيْظِي بِمَنْحُوتَاتِهِمْ وَأَوْثَانِهِمِ الْغَرِيبَةِ الْبَاطِلَةِ؟

Hør folkets fortvivlede skrig ud over landet.‚Hvor er Herren blevet af?’ råber de. ‚Hvorfor har han forladt sit tempel i Jerusalem?’Men Herren vil svare: ‚Hvorfor vakte I min vrede med jeres afgudsbilleder og tomme ritualer?’

Hört, wie mein Volk überall im Land verzweifelt schreit: »Wohnt der Herr nicht mehr auf dem Berg Zion, regiert er dort nicht mehr als König?« Und er antwortet: »Warum habt ihr mich mit euren Götzenstatuen herausgefordert und fremde Götter verehrt, die euch doch nicht helfen können?«

El clamor de mi pueblo se levanta desde todos los rincones del país:«¿Acaso no está el Señor en Sión? ¿No está allí su rey?» «¿Por qué me provocan con sus ídolos, con sus dioses inútiles y extraños?»

La communauté de mon peuple |pousse des cris plaintifsdepuis un pays éloigné.L’Eternel, gémit-elle, |n’est-il plus en Sion ?Son roi n’est-il plus là ? – Ah ! pourquoi m’ont-ils irrité |par leurs statues taillées,par ces dieux inutiles |et étrangers ?

Pamatii ang paghinibi sang akon kasimanwa; mabatian ini sa bug-os nga duta. Nagasiling sila, “Wala na bala ang Ginoo sa Jerusalem?[c] Wala na bala dira ang Dios nga Hari sang Jerusalem?” Nagsabat ang Ginoo, “Ngaa nga ginpaakig ninyo ako paagi sa pagsimba sa mga dios-dios nga wala sing pulos?”

国中に響き渡る彼らの泣き声を聞いてください。「主は、どこにおられるのだろう。神は私たちを置き去りにされたのだろうか」と、彼らは叫びます。ところが主は、「どうして彼らは、自分たちで作った偶像や、外国の悪い習慣をまねることによって、わたしを怒らせてしまったのか」と答えるのです。

멀리서 부르짖는 내 백성의 소리를 들어 보아라. “여호와께서 시온에 안 계시는가? 시온의 왕이 이제는 그 곳에 계시지 않는가?” 그들의 왕 여호와께서 대답하신다. “그들이 어째서 새겨 만든 신상과 헛된 이방의 우상으로 나를 노하게 하였는가?”

Luister naar het huilen van mijn volk, overal in het land. ‘Waar is de Here?’ vragen zij. ‘Heeft God ons verlaten?’ ‘O, waarom hebben zij Mij zo toornig gemaakt met hun waardeloze afgodsbeelden?’ geeft de Here als antwoord.

Ouça o grito de socorro da minha filha, do meu povo,grito que se estende por toda esta terra: “O Senhor não está em Sião? Não se acha mais ali o seu rei?”“Por que eles me provocaram à ira com os seus ídolos,com os seus inúteis deuses estrangeiros?”

Ouçam o choro do meu povo por toda a terra.“Não está o Senhor em Sião?”, perguntam. “Esta terra já não tem o seu Rei?”E o Senhor responde-lhes: “Oh! Porque é que eles me provocaram com os seus ídolos esculpidos, com aqueles ritos perversos e extravagantes?”

Iată, strigătul fiicei poporului meu răsună dintr-o ţară îndepărtată:«Nu mai este Domnul în Sion? Nu mai este Împăratul lui acolo?»“„De ce M-au provocat la mânie prin chipurile lor cioplite, prin idolii lor străini ce nu sunt de nici un folos?“

Hör hur mitt arma folk ropar från fjärran land: ”Är inte Herren i Sion? Är inte hennes kung där längre?” ”Varför har de provocerat mig till vrede med sina bildstoder och med sina meningslösa främmande gudar?”

ฟังเสียงร่ำไห้ของพี่น้องร่วมชาติของข้าพเจ้าจากแดนไกลโพ้นเถิดพวกเขาถามว่า “องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าไม่ได้ประทับอยู่ในศิโยนหรือ?องค์กษัตริย์แห่งศิโยนไม่ได้อยู่ที่นั่นแล้วหรือ?” “ทำไมหนอพวกเขาจึงยั่วโทสะเราด้วยรูปเคารพและด้วยเหล่าเทวรูปต่างชาติอันไร้ค่า?”

听啊！远处传来我同胞的哀鸣：“难道耶和华不在锡安了吗？难道她的王不在她那里了吗？”耶和华说：“他们为什么供奉雕刻的神像和外族无用的偶像，惹我发怒？”

听 啊 ， 是 我 百 姓 的 哀 声 从 极 远 之 地 而 来 ， 说 ： 耶 和 华 不 在 锡 安 麽 ？ 锡 安 的 王 不 在 其 中 麽 ？ 耶 和 华 说 ： 他 们 为 甚 麽 以 雕 刻 的 偶 像 和 外 邦 虚 无 的 神 惹 我 发 怒 呢 ？

聽啊！遠處傳來我同胞的哀鳴：「難道耶和華不在錫安了嗎？難道她的王不在她那裡了嗎？」耶和華說：「他們為什麼供奉雕刻的神像和外族無用的偶像，惹我發怒？」
