Jeremiah 8:13

“I will gather and snatch them away [utterly consuming them],” says the Lord.“There will be no grapes on the vine,Nor figs on the fig tree,And even the leaf will wither;And the things that I have given them will pass away [by the hand of those whom I have appointed].”’”

I will surely consume them, saith the Lord: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.

“‘I went out to see if I could salvage anything’” —God’s Decree— “‘but found nothing:Not a grape, not a fig, just a few withered leaves.I’m taking back everything I gave them.’” 14-16 So why are we sitting here, doing nothing? Let’s get organized.Let’s go to the big city and at least die fighting.We’ve gotten God’s ultimatum: We’re damned if we do and damned if we don’t— damned because of our sin against him.We hoped things would turn out for the best, but it didn’t happen that way.We were waiting around for healing— and terror showed up!From Dan at the northern borders we hear the hooves of horses,Horses galloping, horses neighing. The ground shudders and quakes.They’re going to swallow up the whole country. Towns and people alike—fodder for war.

“I will surely snatch them away,” declares the Lord;“There will be no grapes on the vineAnd no figs on the fig tree,And the leaf will wither;And what I have given them will pass away.”’”

“ ‘ “I will take away their harvest,” announces the Lord. “There will not be any grapes on the vines.The trees will not bear any figs. The leaves on the trees will dry up.What I have given my people will be taken away from them.” ’ ”

I will surely consume them. There will be no more harvests of figs and grapes.Their fruit trees will all die. Whatever I gave them will soon be gone. I, the Lord, have spoken!’

«وَسَأُبِيدُهُمْ حَقّاً، إِذْ لَا يَكُونُ فِي الْكَرْمَةِ عِنَبٌ وَلا فِي التِّينَةِ تِينٌ، حَتَّى أَوْرَاقُ الأَشْجَارِ تَذْوِي وَتَتَسَاقَطُ، وَمَا أَغْدَقْتُهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ نِعَمٍ يُسْلَبُ مِنْهُمْ.

Da jeg ville høste, var der ingen druer på vinstokkene og ingen figner på figentræerne. Alle bladene var visne. Derfor sender jeg en fjende, som skal trampe dem ned.”[a]

Mit Stumpf und Stiel werde ich sie ausrotten, denn sie sind wie ein schlechter Weinstock,[b] der keine Trauben hat, und wie ein Feigenbaum, der keine Früchte hervorbringt, ja, selbst die Blätter sind welk! Darum werde ich Feinde schicken, die ihnen auch das Letzte noch nehmen!

Je leur ôterai leurs récoltes,déclare l’Eternel,et il n’y aura plus |de raisin sur la vigne,et il n’y aura plus de figues |sur le figuier,le feuillage est flétri !Car je donnerai toutà ceux qui passeront sur eux.

いちじくとぶどうは姿を消し、果物の木は枯れ、わたしが与えたすべての良い物は、すぐになくなる。

여호와께서 말씀하신다. “[b]내가 그들의 농작물을 거두어 가겠다. 포도나무에는 포도가 없을 것이요 무화과나무에는 무화과가 없고 잎이 마를 것이며 내가 그들에게 준 것이 다 없어지고 말 것이다.”

Het zal gedaan zijn met hun goede oogsten. Hun vijgen en druiven zullen verdwijnen, hun fruitbomen zullen verdorren en alle goede dingen die Ik hun had gegeven, zullen van hen worden afgenomen.’

“Eu quis recolher a colheita deles”, declara o Senhor.“Mas não há uvas na videira nem figos na figueira;as folhas estão secas.O que lhes dei será tomado deles.”

Castigá-los-ei com a morte. Os seus figos e as suas uvas desaparecerão; as suas árvores de fruto secarão; desaparecerão em breve todas as boas coisas que preparei para eles.”
