Jeremiah 7:28

You shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or accept correction and warning; truth and faithfulness have perished and have completely vanished from their mouths.

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

You shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or accept correction; [j]truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.

So say to them, ‘You are a nation that has not obeyed the Lord your God. You did not pay attention when you were corrected. Truth has died out. You do not tell the truth anymore.’ ”

Therefore say to them, ‘This is the nation that has not obeyed the Lord its God or responded to correction. Truth has perished; it has vanished from their lips.

فَتَقُولُ لَهُمْ: هَذِهِ هِيَ الأُمَّةُ الَّتِي تَعْصَى صَوْتَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِهَا، وَلا تَقْبَلُ التَّأْدِيبَ. لَقَدْ تَلاشَى الْحَقُّ وَانْقَطَعَ عَنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ.

Sig til dem: I er et folk, der nægter at adlyde Herren, jeres Gud. I vil ikke tage imod fornuft, og I har glemt, hvad sandhed og ærlighed betyder.
