Jeremiah 6:16

Thus says the Lord,“Stand by the roads and look; ask for the ancient paths,Where the good way is; then walk in it,And you will find rest for your souls.But they said, ‘We will not walk in it!’

Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Thus says the Lord,“Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths,Where the good way is, and walk in it;And you will find rest for your souls.But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

The Lord tells the people of Judah,“Stand where the roads cross, and look around. Ask where the old paths are.Ask for the good path, and walk on it. Then your hearts will find rest in me. But you said, ‘We won’t walk on it.’

This is what the Lord says:“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths,ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

This is what the Lord says:“Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it.Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’

وَهَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ الرَّبُّ: «قِفُوا فِي الطُّرُقَاتِ وَانْظُرُوا، وَاسْأَلُوا عَنِ الْمَسَالِكِ الصَّالِحَةِ الْقَدِيمَةِ وَاطْرُقُوهَا، فَتَجِدُوا رَاحَةً لِنُفُوسِكُمْ. وَلَكِنَّكُمْ قُلْتُمْ: ’لَنْ نَسِيرَ فِيهَا.‘

Jeg siger jer: I står ved en korsvej. Tænk over hvilken vej, I skal vælge. Spørg efter den rigtige vej, som jeg viste jer for længe siden. Hvis I følger den, vil I finde hvile for sjælen. Men I svarer: ‚Nej, den vej ønsker vi ikke at gå.’

»So spricht der Herr zu seinem Volk: Stellt euch an die Straßen und schaut euch um! Erkundigt euch, welchen Weg eure Vorfahren gegangen sind! Fragt nach dem richtigen Weg, und dann beschreitet ihn. So findet ihr Ruhe für euer Leben. Aber ihr sagt: ›Nein, diesen Weg gehen wir nicht!‹

Así dice el Señor:«Deteneos en los caminos y mirad; preguntad por los senderos antiguos.Preguntad por el buen camino, y no os apartéis de él. Así hallaréis el descanso anhelado.Pero ellos dijeron: “No lo seguiremos”.

Voici ce que dit l’Eternel :Tenez-vous sur les routes, regardez ! |Informez-vous |des sentiers d’autrefois :« Quel est le bon chemin ? » |Et puis, suivez-le doncet vous y trouverez |du repos pour vous-mêmes.Mais ils ont répondu :« Nous n’y marcherons pas ! »

Amo pa gid ini ang ginasiling sang Ginoo: “Magtindog kamo sa ginsang-an sang mga dalan kag mag-usisa sing maayo. Magpamangkot kamo kon diin ang daan kag maayo nga alagyan, kag didto kamo mag-agi. Kag makaangkon kamo sang kalinong. Pero nagsiling kamo, ‘Indi kami mag-agi dira.’

ところが、それでもなお主はあなたがたに訴えます。「ずっと昔おまえたちが歩いていた、神を恐れる幸いな道を探し出し、その道を歩きなさい。そうすれば、たましいに安らぎがくる。だがおまえたちは、『いや、その道は通りたくない』と答える。

여호와께서 말씀하신다. “내가 너희에게 ‘너희는 길거리에 서서 바라보아라. 너희가 옛날에 걷던 선한 길이 어느 것인지 알아보고 그 길로 걸어가거라. 그러면 너희가 마음의 안식을 찾을 것이다’ 하였으나 너희는 ‘우리가 그 길로 가지 않겠습니다’ 하고 대답하였다.

Toch blijft de Here tegen u zeggen: ‘Vraag waar de goede weg is, de vertrouwde paden die u lang geleden bewandelde. Als u die volgt, zult u rust vinden voor uw ziel. Maar u antwoordt: “Nee, die weg willen wij niet gaan!”

Assim diz o Senhor:“Ponham-se nas encruzilhadas e olhem;perguntem pelos caminhos antigos,perguntem pelo bom caminho. Sigam-no e acharão descanso.Mas vocês disseram: ‘Não seguiremos!’

Mesmo assim, o Senhor insiste convosco: “Perguntem qual é a melhor estrada, o caminho de justiça, essas veredas antigas por onde costumavam andar. Vão por elas, e acharão repouso para as vossas almas. Mas vocês respondem: ‘Não, não é nessa direção que quero ir; não me interessa esse caminho!’

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul:«Staţi la răspântii şi priviţi! Întrebaţi care sunt cărările cele vechi,unde este calea cea bună; apoi umblaţi pe ea şi veţi găsi odihnă pentru sufletele voastre. Dar ei spun: ‘Nu vrem să umblăm pe ea!’

Så säger Herren: ”Stanna upp vid vägskälen och se efter, fråga efter de gamla stigarna, efter den goda vägen, och gå på den, så ska ni finna ro för era själar. Men de svarade: ’Nej, vi vill inte vandra på den.’

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า“จงยืนที่ทางแพร่งและมองดูจงถามถึงหนทางโบราณจงถามหาหนทางที่ดีและดำเนินในทางนั้นแล้วเจ้าจะพบการพักสงบสำหรับจิตใจของเจ้าแต่เจ้าพูดว่า ‘เราจะไม่ยอมเดินทางสายนั้น’

耶和华说：“你们要站在路口观望，寻访古道，找到正路并行在其上，便会得到心灵的安宁。”但你们却说：“我们拒绝这样做。”

耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 你 们 当 站 在 路 上 察 看 ， 访 问 古 道 ， 哪 是 善 道 ， 便 行 在 其 间 ； 这 样 ， 你 们 心 里 必 得 安 息 。 他 们 却 说 ： 我 们 不 行 在 其 间 。

耶和華說：「你們要站在路口觀望，尋訪古道，找到正路並行在其上，便會得到心靈的安寧。」但你們卻說：「我們拒絕這樣做。」
