Jeremiah 51:54

The sound of an outcry [comes] from Babylon,And [the sound] of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!

A sound of a cry cometh from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:

The sound of an outcry from Babylon,And of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!

“The noise of people screaming comes from Babylon. A terrible sound comes from its land. It is the sound of a mighty city being destroyed.

“The sound of a cry comes from Babylon, the sound of great destruction from the land of the Babylonians.[h]

هَا صَوْتُ صُرَاخٍ يَتَرَدَّدُ فِي بَابِلَ، صَوْتُ جَلَبَةِ دَمَارٍ عَظِيمٍ مِنْ أَرْضِ الْكَلْدَانِيِّينَ،

Hør! Dødsskriget stiger op fra Babylon, hele Babyloniens land er brudt sammen.

Hört ihr, wie Babylonien um Hilfe schreit? Das ganze Land ist dem Untergang geweiht,

»Se oyen clamores por la gran destrucción del país de Babilonia.

»Se oyen clamores por la gran destrucción del país de Babilonia.

Un cri se fait entendre, |venant de Babylone,le bruit d’un immense désastre |retentit en Chaldée.

Luister, de kreet van de vernietiging schalt door Babel, door het land van de Chaldeeën!
