Jeremiah 51:31

One courier runs to meet another,And one messenger to meet another,To tell the [e]king of BabylonThat his city has been captured from end to end;

One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end,

One [ah]courier runs to meet [ai]another,And one [aj]messenger to meet [ak]another,To tell the king of BabylonThat his city has been captured from end to end;

One messenger after another comes to the king of Babylon.All of them announce that his entire city is captured.

The news is passed from one runner to the next as the messengers hurry to tell the king that his city has been captured.

يَرْكُضُ عَدَّاءٌ لِمُلاقَاةِ عَدَّاءٍ آخَرَ. وَيُسْرِعُ مُخْبِرٌ لِلِقَاءِ مُخْبِرٍ لِيُبَلِّغَ مَلِكَ بَابِلَ أَنَّ مَدِينَتَهُ قَدْ تَمَّ الاسْتِيلاءُ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ.
