Jeremiah 50:9

“For behold, I will stir up and bring up against BabylonAn assembly of great nations from the north country.They will equip themselves and set up the battle lines against her;From there she will be taken captive.Their arrows will be like an expert warriorWho will not return empty-handed.

For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.

فَهَا أَنَا أُثِيرُ وَأَجْلِبُ عَلَى بَابِلَ حُشُودَ أُمَمٍ عَظِيمَةٍ مِنْ أَرْضِ الشِّمَالِ فَيَصْطَفُّونَ عَلَيْهَا، وَيَسْتَوْلُونَ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الشِّمَالِ، وَتَكُونُ سِهَامُهُمْ كَجَبَّارٍ مُتَمَرِّسٍ لَا يَرْجِعُ فَارِغاً،

Jeg vil nemlig samle en mægtig hær fra mange folkeslag i nord og sende den imod Babylonien for at erobre landet. Det er dygtige krigere, og deres pile rammer plet.
