Jeremiah 50:5

They will ask the way to Zion, with their faces in that direction, saying, ‘Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.’

They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the Lord in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.

They will ask for the way to Zion, turning their faces [c]in its direction; [d]they [e]will come that they may join themselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.

They will ask how to get to Zion. Then they will turn their faces toward it.They will come and join themselves to me. They will enter into the covenant I make with them.It will last forever. It will never be forgotten.

يَسْأَلُونَ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ إِلَى صِهْيَوْنَ، وَيَتَوَجَّهُونَ إِلَيْهَا قَائِلِينَ: هَلُمَّ نَنْضَمُّ إِلَى الرَّبِّ بِعَهْدٍ أَبَدِيٍّ لَا يُنْسَى.

De vil spørge om vej til Zion, for nu vil de hjem. De vil forny pagten med mig og love aldrig at bryde den igen.

Sie fragen: ›Welcher Weg führt zum Berg Zion?‹, und gehen in diese Richtung weiter. ›Kommt‹, fordern sie einander auf, ›wir wollen wieder dem Herrn gehören! Wir schließen mit ihm einen ewigen Bund, den wir nie mehr vergessen werden!‹
