Jeremiah 50:44

“See, one will come up like a lion from the thicket of the Jordan against the enduring habitation [of Babylon] and its watered pastures; for in an instant I will make Babylon run from his land. I will appoint over Babylon the one whom I choose. For who is like Me, and who will summon Me [into court] and prosecute Me [for this]? Who is the [earthly] shepherd who can stand [defiantly] before Me?”

Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?

“And now watch this: Like a lion coming up from the thick jungle of the Jordan,Looking for prey in the mountain pastures, I’ll take over and pounce.I’ll take my pick of the flock—and who’s to stop me? All the so-called shepherds are helpless before me.” 45-46 So, listen to this plan that God has worked out against Babylon, the blueprint of what he’s prepared for dealing with Chaldea:Believe it or not, the young, the vulnerable—mere lambs and kids—will be dragged off.Believe it or not, the flock in shock, helpless to help, watches it happen.When the shout goes up, “Babylon’s down!” the very earth will shudder at the sound. The news will be heard all over the world.

What nation will I choose to do this? Which one will I appoint?Is anyone like me? Who would dare to argue with me? What leader can stand against me?”

انْظُرْ، هَا هُوَ يَنْقَضُّ عَلَيْهَا كَمَا يَنْقَضُّ أَسَدٌ مِنْ أَجَمَاتِ نَهْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ، هَكَذَا وَفِي لَحْظَةٍ أَطْرُدُهُمْ مِنْهَا، وَأُوَلِّي عَلَيْهَا مَنْ أَخْتَارُهُ لأَنَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ نَظِيرِي؟ وَمَنْ يُحَاكِمُنِي؟ وَأَيُّ رَاعٍ يَقْوَى عَلَى مُوَاجَهَتِي؟

Som en løve, der springer ud fra Jordanflodens vildnis og jager fårene væk i alle retninger, vil jeg i et nu jage babylonierne væk og udpege en leder, som jeg selv vælger. Hvem kan måle sig med mig? Hvem tør kræve mig til regnskab? Hvilken fyrste kan modsætte sig mine planer?

「ヨルダンの密林から出て、草を食べている羊に飛びかかるライオンのような侵略者が、彼らに突然襲いかかるようにする。彼らを守る者たちを追い払い、わたしの気に入った指導者を立てる。わたしのような者がいるだろうか。わたしの決めたことに反抗する支配者が、どこにいるだろうか。だれがわたしを呼びつけて、説明を求めることができようか。

사자가 요단 숲속에서 목장으로 올라오는 것처럼 갑자기 침략자가 밀어닥칠 것이다. 내가 즉시 바빌로니아 사람들을 그 땅에서 쫓아내고 내가 택한 자를 세워 그 나라를 다스리게 하겠다. 나와 같은 자가 누구인가? 나에게 도전할 자가 누구이며 나와 맞설 목자가 누구인가?

仇 敌 必 像 狮 子 从 约 但 河 边 的 丛 林 上 来 ， 攻 击 坚 固 的 居 所 。 转 眼 之 间 ， 我 要 使 他 们 逃 跑 ， 离 开 这 地 。 谁 蒙 拣 选 ， 我 就 派 谁 治 理 这 地 。 谁 能 比 我 呢 ？ 谁 能 给 我 定 规 日 期 呢 ？ 有 何 牧 人 能 在 我 面 前 站 立 得 住 呢 ？

「看啊，我必在瞬間把巴比倫人趕離家園，如約旦河邊叢林中跳出的獅子趕散草場的羊群。我要派我揀選的人統治這地方。誰能與我相比？誰能與我較量？哪位首領能抵抗我？」
