Jeremiah 50:38

“A drought on her waters, and they will dry up!For it is a land of [worthless] idols,And they are mad over fearsome idols [those objects of terror in which they foolishly trust].

A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.

There will not be any rain for their rivers. So they will dry up.Those things will happen because their land is full of statues of gods. Those gods will go crazy with terror.

A drought[h] will strike her water supply, causing it to dry up.And why? Because the whole land is filled with idols, and the people are madly in love with them.

هَا الْحَرُّ عَلَى مِيَاهِهَا فَيُصِيبُهَا الْجَفَافُ لأَنَّهَا أَرْضُ أَصْنَامٍ، وَقَدْ أُولِعَ أَهْلُهَا بِالأَوْثَانِ.

Der bliver tørke i landet, så floder og kanaler tørrer ud. Hvorfor? Fordi landet er fyldt med afgudsbilleder, og folket er stolte af dem.

Alle Gewässer des Landes sollen austrocknen! Denn Babylonien ist ein Land voll abscheulicher Götzenstatuen, die seinen Bewohnern den Verstand geraubt haben.

¡Muerte a sus aguas! ¡Que queden secas!Porque Babilonia es un país de ídolos, de ídolos terribles que provocan la locura.

そればかりか、水の補給さえなくなる。どうして、このようになるのだろうか。国中に神々の像が立ち、民が熱心に偶像を慕っているからだ。

그 땅에는 조각한 신상이 가득하고 그 백성은 우상에 미쳐 있다. 그러므로 가뭄이 그 땅에 밀어닥쳐 물을 모조리 말려 버릴 것이다.

zelfs haar watervoorraden zullen opdrogen. En waarom? Omdat dit hele land vol staat met afgodsbeelden waardoor haar inwoners zich laten misleiden.

Uma espada contra as suas águas!Elas secarão.Porque é uma terra de imagens esculpidas,e eles enlouquecem por causa de seus ídolos horríveis.

Até as fontes de águas secarão. Tudo isso porquê? Porque toda a terra está cheia de imagens de ídolos e o povo está como que apaixonado por eles.

Torka[c] över dess vatten, de ska torka ut! För detta är avgudarnas land, de dyrkar skräckens beläten som besatta.

ให้ความแห้งแล้งมาเหนือ[c]ห้วงน้ำทั้งหลายของมัน!พวกมันจะได้เหือดแห้งเพราะดินแดนนั้นเต็มไปด้วยรูปเคารพและผู้คนก็คลั่งไคล้ไปกับพระต่างๆ

旱灾必临到巴比伦，使那里的河流干涸，因为那里偶像遍地，人们都沉迷于祭拜神像。

有 乾 旱 临 到 他 的 众 水 ， 就 必 乾 涸 ； 因 为 这 是 有 雕 刻 偶 像 之 地 ， 人 因 偶 像 而 颠 狂 。

旱災必臨到巴比倫，使那裡的河流乾涸，因為那裡偶像遍地，人們都沉迷於祭拜神像。
