Jeremiah 50:12

Your mother [Babylon] shall be greatly shamed;She who gave you birth will be ashamed.Behold, she will be the least of the nations,A wilderness, a parched land and a desert.

Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

Because of that, you will bring great shame on your land. Your whole nation will be dishonored.It will become the least important of the nations. It will become a dry and empty desert.

فَإِنَّ أُمَّكُمْ قَدْ لَحِقَهَا الْخِزْيُ الشَّدِيدُ وَانْتَابَهَا الْخَجَلُ. هَا هِيَ تُضْحِي أَقَلَّ الشُّعُوبِ، وَأَرْضُهَا تَصِيرُ قَفْراً جَافّاً وَصَحْرَاءَ.

おまえたちの母は恥をかいて顔を伏せる。おまえたちは一番弱い国となり、荒野となり、乾ききった砂漠となるからだ。

그러나 너희 나라가 크게 수치를 당할 것이다. 바빌로니아는 세계에서 제일 보잘것없는 나라가 될 것이며 광야와 메마른 땅과 사막이 되고 말 것이다.

toch zal uw moeder worden overladen met schaamte, want zij zal de minste onder de volken worden, een wildernis, een droog en woest land.

生养你们的母亲巴比伦将羞愧难当，蒙受耻辱，排在列国之末，沦为干旱的荒漠。
