Jeremiah 5:19

It will come about when your people say, ‘Why has the Lord our God done all these things to us?’ then you shall answer them, ‘As you have abandoned (rejected) Me,’ [says the Lord,] ‘and have served strange and foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’

And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the Lord our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your's.

It shall come about when [f]they say, ‘Why has the Lord our God done all these things to us?’ then you shall say to them, ‘As you have forsaken Me and served foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’

‘Jeremiah,’ the people will ask, ‘Why has the Lord our God done all this to us?’ Then you will tell them, ‘You have deserted the Lord. You have served other gods in your own land. So now you will serve another nation in a land that is not your own.’

And when the people ask, ‘Why has the Lord our God done all this to us?’ you will tell them, ‘As you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your own land, so now you will serve foreigners in a land not your own.’

And when the people ask, “Why has the Lord our God done all this to us?” you will tell them, “As you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your own land, so now you will serve foreigners in a land not your own.”

“And when your people ask, ‘Why did the Lord our God do all this to us?’ you must reply, ‘You rejected him and gave yourselves to foreign gods in your own land. Now you will serve foreigners in a land that is not your own.’ A Warning for God’s People

«وَعِنْدَمَا يَسْأَلُونَ: ’لِمَاذَا صَنَعَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا بِنَا هَذِهِ الأُمُورَ كُلَّهَا؟‘ تَقُولُ لَهُمْ: ’كَمَا أَنَّكُمْ تَخَلَّيْتُمْ عَنِّي وَعَبَدْتُمُ الأَوْثَانَ الْغَرِيبَةَ فِي أَرْضِكُمْ، كَذَلِكَ تُسْتَعْبَدُونَ لِلْغُرَبَاءِ فِي أَرْضٍ لَيْسَتْ لَكُمْ‘».

Herren sagde derefter til mig: „Når folket spørger, hvordan Herren, deres Gud, kan være så hård imod dem, skal du svare: ‚Fordi I forkastede ham og dyrkede fremmede guder i jeres eget land. Nu bliver I slaver for et fremmed folk i et fremmed land.’

Und wenn sie dich, Jeremia, fragen: ›Warum hat uns der Herr, unser Gott, dies angetan?‹, dann sollst du antworten: ›Ihr habt ihn verlassen und in eurem eigenen Land fremden Göttern gedient, nun müsst ihr in einem anderen Land fremden Herren dienen!‹

Y, cuando te pregunten: “¿Por qué el Señor, nuestro Dios, nos ha hecho todo esto?”, tú les responderás: “Así como vosotros me habéis abandonado y en vuestra propia tierra habéis servido a dioses extranjeros, así también en tierra extraña serviréis a gente extranjera”.

Y, cuando te pregunten: “¿Por qué el Señor, nuestro Dios, nos ha hecho todo esto?”, tú les responderás: “Así como ustedes me han abandonado y en su propia tierra han servido a dioses extranjeros, así también en tierra extraña servirán a gente extranjera”.

Kon mamangkot ang mga tawo, ‘Ngaa ginhimo ini tanan sa aton sang Ginoo nga aton Dios?’ Silinga sila, ‘Kay ginsikway ninyo ang Ginoo kag nag-alagad kamo sa iban nga mga dios sa inyo mismo duta. Gani karon magaalagad kamo sa mga taga-iban nga lugar sa duta nga indi inyo.’

おまえの同胞が『どうして主はこんなことをするのか』と尋ねたら、こう答えなさい。『あなたがたは神を捨て、自分の国でほかの神々に身も心もささげました。だから今度は、その神々の国々で、外国人の奴隷になるのです。』

“그들이 만일 ‘우리 하나님 여호와께서는 어째서 우리에게 이 모든 일을 행하셨는가?’ 하고 물으면 너는 이렇게 대답하라. ‘너희가 여호와를 버리고 너희 땅에서 이방 신들을 섬겼으므로 이제는 너희가 너희 땅이 아닌 곳에서 이방인들을 섬겨야 할 것이다.’

‘En als het volk vraagt: “Waarom doet de Here, onze God, ons dit aan?” dan moet u antwoorden: “U wees Hem af en diende in uw eigen land vreemde goden, nu moet u in vreemde landen slaven zijn van buitenlanders.”

“E, quando perguntarem: ‘Por que o Senhor, o nosso Deus, fez isso conosco?’, você lhes dirá: Assim como vocês me abandonaram e serviram deuses estrangeiros em sua própria terra, também agora vocês servirão estrangeiros numa terra que não é de vocês.

E quando perguntarem: ‘Porque foi que o Senhor, nosso Deus, nos fez isto?’, então lhes responderás: ‘Foi porque o rejeitaram e se deram a si próprios a outros deuses, enquanto estavam na vossa terra; e agora também servirão estrangeiros, numa terra que não é vossa.’

Och om de då frågar: ’Varför har Herren, vår Gud, gjort allt detta mot oss?’ så ska du säga till dem: ’Liksom ni har övergett mig och tjänat främmande gudar i ert eget land, så ska ni nu tjäna främlingar i ett land som inte är ert eget.’

และเมื่อเหล่าประชากรถามว่า ‘ทำไมพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเราจึงทรงทำสิ่งทั้งหมดนี้กับเรา?’ เจ้าจะบอกพวกเขาว่า ‘พวกเจ้าได้ละทิ้งพระเจ้า และได้ปรนนิบัติบรรดาพระต่างชาติในแผ่นดินของเจ้าเองอย่างไร บัดนี้พวกเจ้าจะต้องไปปรนนิบัติชนต่างชาติในแผ่นดินซึ่งไม่ใช่ของพวกเจ้าอย่างนั้น’

耶利米啊，如果有人问，‘为什么我们的上帝耶和华这样待我们？’你可以对他们说，‘你们怎样背弃耶和华，在自己的土地上供奉外族的神明，也要怎样在异地他乡服侍外族人。’

百 姓 若 说 ： 耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 的 神 为 甚 麽 向 我 们 行 这 一 切 事 呢 ？ 你 就 对 他 们 说 ： 你 们 怎 样 离 弃 耶 和 华 （ 原 文 是 我 ） ， 在 你 们 的 地 上 事 奉 外 邦 神 ， 也 必 照 样 在 不 属 你 们 的 地 上 事 奉 外 邦 人 。

耶利米啊，如果有人問，『為什麼我們的上帝耶和華這樣待我們？』你可以對他們說，『你們怎樣背棄耶和華，在自己的土地上供奉外族的神明，也要怎樣在異地他鄉服侍外族人。』
