Jeremiah 49:9

“If grape gatherers came to you,Would they not leave some ungleaned grapes [on the vines]?If thieves came by night,Would they not destroy [only] what is enough [for them]?

If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough.

Edom, suppose grape pickers came to harvest your vines. They would still leave a few grapes.Suppose robbers came at night. They would steal only as much as they wanted.

Those who harvest grapes always leave a few for the poor.If thieves came at night, they would not take everything.

لَوْ أَقْبَلَ قَاطِفُو الْعِنَبِ إِلَيْكَ، أَلا يُبْقُونَ خُصَاصَةً؟ وَلَوِ انْسَلَّ اللُّصُوصُ لَيْلاً، أَلا يَقْنَعُونَ بِسَلْبِ مَا يَكْفِيهِمْ؟

Når man høster druer, efterlader man nogle til de fattige. Selv tyveknægte nøjes med at tage det, de kan bruge. 10-11 Men når jeg straffer Edom, ribber jeg landet for alt. Jeg afslører alle deres skjulesteder, så de ikke kan gemme sig. Jeg vil skåne de forældreløse og enkerne. De kan trygt stole på mig. Men alle andre vil blive udryddet, så ingen længere har børn, familie eller naboer.”

Indi bala nga ang mga nagapamupo sang ubas wala nila ginaubos kuha ang mga bunga kundi ginabilinan nila? Kag indi bala nga ang mga kawatan wala nila ginaubos kuha ang sa sulod sang balay kundi ginakuha lang nila ang ila kinahanglan?

포도를 따는 자들도 가난한 자를 위해 약간씩 남겨 두며 밤의 도둑도 자기가 원하는 것만 가져간다.

Se os que colhem uvas viessem até você,não deixariam eles apenas umas poucas uvas?Se os ladrões viessem durante a noite, não roubariamapenas o quanto desejassem?

Aqueles que vindimam, costumam deixar uns cachos para os pobres, e até os que vão lá roubar não levam tudo.

Om druvplockarna kommer till dig lämnar de ingen efterskörd. Om det kommer tjuvar om natten ska de fördärva de så mycket de kan.[d]

หากคนเก็บองุ่นมาหาเจ้าเขาจะไม่เหลือไว้บ้างนิดหน่อยหรือ?หากขโมยมาในยามค่ำคืนเขาจะไม่ขโมยไปเพียงเท่าที่เขาอยากได้หรือ?

人们来以东摘葡萄，不会摘尽；盗贼夜间来偷东西，不会偷光。

摘 葡 萄 的 若 来 到 他 那 里 ， 岂 不 剩 下 些 葡 萄 呢 ？ 盗 贼 若 夜 间 而 来 ， 岂 不 毁 坏 直 到 够 了 呢 ？

人們來以東摘葡萄，不會摘盡；盜賊夜間來偷東西，不會偷光。
