Jeremiah 48:5

“For the Ascent of LuhithWill be climbed by [successive groups of] fugitives with continual weeping;For on the descent of HoronaimThey have heard the distress of the cry of destruction.

For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.

“For by the ascent of LuhithThey will ascend with continual weeping;For at the descent of HoronaimThey have heard the [c]anguished cry of destruction.

The people go up the hill to Luhith. They are weeping bitterly as they go.Loud cries are heard on the road down to Horonaim. People cry out because the town is being destroyed.

Her refugees weep bitterly, climbing the slope to Luhith.They cry out in terror, descending the slope to Horonaim.

إِذْ عَلَى مُرْتَفَعِ لُوحِيتَ يَصْعَدُونَ بَاكِينَ بِمَرَارَةٍ، وَعَلَى مُنْحَدَرِ حُورُونَايِمَ يَتَرَدَّدُ صُرَاخُ الانْكِسَارِ.

泣きながらルヒテの坂を上る避難民の耳には、下に見える町からの恐怖の叫びが聞こえる。

그들이 루힛 언덕으로 올라가면서 계속 울고 부르짖으니 호로나임 내리막 길에서 패망의 가슴 아픈 통곡 소리를 들었기 때문이다.

De vluchtelingen zullen bitter huilend de heuvels van Luhith beklimmen, terwijl angstkreten opklinken uit de stad beneden hen.

Man går uppför Luchits höjd, bittert gråtande. På vägen ner till Horonajim hörs ångestfyllda rop över förödelsen.
