Jeremiah 48:19

“O inhabitant of Aroer,Stand by the road and keep watch!Ask [of] him who flees and [ask of] her who escapes,Saying, ‘What has happened?’

O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and espy; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth, and say, What is done?

قِفِي عَلَى قَارِعَةِ الطَّرِيقِ وَرَاقِبِي يَا سَاكِنَةَ عَرُوعِيرَ. اسْأَلِي الْهَارِبَ وَالنَّاجِيَةَ بِنَفْسِهَا: مَاذَا جَرَى؟

Aroers indbyggere står frygtsomme langs vejen og råber til de flygtende fra Moab: ‚Hvad er der sket?’

Stellt euch an die Straße und seht euch um, ihr Einwohner von Aroër! Fragt die Flüchtlinge und die Vertriebenen, was geschehen ist.

アロエルの住民よ、道のそばに立って、モアブから逃げて来る人たちに、「いったい何が起こったのですか」と聞いてみなさい。

아로엘에 사는 자들아, 길가에 서서 지켜 보며 도망하는 자와 피하는 여인에게 ‘무슨 일인가?’ 하고 물어 보아라.

De mensen in Aroër staan langs de weg angstig toe te kijken en vragen de vluchtelingen uit Moab: “Wat is er gebeurd?”
