Jeremiah 46:23

“They have cut down her forest,” says the Lord;“Certainly it will no longer be found,Because they (the invaders) are more numerous than locustsAnd cannot be counted.

They shall cut down her forest, saith the Lord, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable.

Egypt is like a thick forest. But they will chop it down,” announces the Lord.“There are more of their enemies than there are locusts. In fact, they can’t even be counted.

سَيَقْطَعُونَ غَابَهَا، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يَتَعَذَّرُ اخْتِرَاقُهُ، لأَنَّ عَدَدَهُمْ يَفُوقُ الْجَرَادَ فِي الْكَثْرَةِ.

Egyptens folk er som en uigennemtrængelig urskov, men fjenden vil hugge det hele ned, for de er flere end en græshoppesværm, det er umuligt at tælle dem.

이집트의 숲이 아무리 울창하여도 적군들이 그것을 찍어 버릴 것이니 그들의 수가 메뚜기떼보다 많아 헤아릴 수 없기 때문이다.

埃及的人口虽然稠密如林，敌军必像无数的蝗虫一样扫平他们。这是耶和华说的。

耶 和 华 说 ： 埃 及 的 树 林 虽 然 不 能 寻 察 （ 或 译 ： 穿 不 过 ） ， 敌 人 却 要 砍 伐 ， 因 他 们 多 於 蝗 虫 ， 不 可 胜 数 。

埃及的人口雖然稠密如林，敵軍必像無數的蝗蟲一樣掃平他們。這是耶和華說的。
