Jeremiah 38:25

But if the princes (court officials) hear that I have talked with you, and they come to you and say, ‘Tell us now what you said to the king and what he said to you; do not hide it from us and we will not execute you,’

Suppose the officials find out that I’ve talked with you. And suppose they come to you and say, ‘Tell us what you said to the king. Tell us what the king said to you. Don’t hide it from us. If you do, we’ll kill you.’

فَإِذَا سَمِعَ الرُّؤَسَاءُ أَنِّي تَحَدَّثْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَسَأَلُوكَ: بِمَاذَا خَاطَبْتَ الْمَلِكَ، وَمَاذَا قَالَ الْمَلِكُ؟ لَا تَكْتُمْ عَنَّا شَيْئاً، وَنَحْنُ لَنْ نَقْتُلَكَ.

Hvis mine hoffolk får nys om vores samtale, og hvis de truer dig med døden, medmindre du fortæller dem, hvad vi har talt om,

家来どもが、会見のことを知って、話の内容を教えなければ殺すと脅したら、こう言うのだ。

En als mijn dienaren horen dat u met mij hebt gesproken en zij u met de dood bedreigen als u niet vertelt waarover het ging,

Om furstarna får höra att jag har talat med dig, kommer de till dig och säger: ’Tala om för oss vad du sa till kungen! Dölj ingenting för oss, annars dödar vi dig. Berätta också vad kungen sa till dig!’

如果有官长知道我曾与你会面，前来以死亡相威胁，逼你说出我们谈话的内容。

首 领 若 听 见 了 我 与 你 说 话 ， 就 来 见 你 ， 问 你 说 ： 你 对 王 说 甚 麽 话 不 要 向 我 们 隐 瞒 ， 我 们 就 不 杀 你 。 王 向 你 说 甚 麽 话 也 要 告 诉 我 们 。
