Jeremiah 10:22

The sound of a report! Behold, [the invader] comes—A great commotion from the country of the north (Babylonia)—To make the cities of JudahA desolation, a haunt and dwelling place of jackals.

Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.

But listen! Something’s coming! A big commotion from the northern borders!Judah’s towns about to be smashed, left to all the stray dogs and cats! 23-25 I know, God, that mere mortals can’t run their own lives,That men and women don’t have what it takes to take charge of life.So correct us, God, as you see best. Don’t lose your temper. That would be the end of us.Vent your anger on the godless nations, who refuse to acknowledge you,And on the people who won’t pray to you—The very ones who’ve made hash out of Jacob, yes, made hashAnd devoured him whole, people and pastures alike.

اسْمَعُوا، هَا أَخْبَارٌ تَتَوَاتَرُ عَنْ جَيْشٍ عَظِيمٍ مُقْبِلٍ مِنَ الشِّمَالِ لِيُحَوِّلَ مُدُنَ يَهُوذَا إِلَى خَرَائِبَ وَمَأْوَى لِبَنَاتِ آوَى. صلاة إرميا

Hør! Der lyder krigslarm i nord, nu nærmer dommen sig. Judas byer skal jævnes med jorden og blive et tilholdssted for sjakaler.

Da! Der Feind rückt aus dem Norden an, man hört schon den Lärm! Er wird die Städte Judas zu Ruinen machen, in denen die Schakale hausen.‹«

들어라! 북쪽 땅에서 큰 소동이 일어나고 있다. 그것이 유다 성들을 황폐하게 하여 이리의 소굴이 되게 할 것이다.
