Isaiah 9:20

They slice off [in discord] what is on the right hand but are still hungry,And they eat what is on the left hand but they are not satisfied;Each eats the flesh of his own arm.

And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:

People will eat up everything they can find on their right. But they’ll still be hungry.They will eat everything they can find on their left. But they won’t be satisfied.So they will eat the dead bodies of their children.

On the right they will devour, but still be hungry;on the left they will eat, but not be satisfied.Each will feed on the flesh of their own offspring[b]:

They will attack their neighbor on the right but will still be hungry.They will devour their neighbor on the left but will not be satisfied.In the end they will even eat their own children.[g]

يَلْتَهِمُونَ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَلَكِنْ يَظَلُّونَ جِيَاعاً، وَيَفْتَرِسُونَ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَلا يَشْبَعُونَ. كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ يَأْكُلُ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ.

Manasse er imod Efraim, Efraim er imod Manasse—og sammen overfalder de Judas stamme. Alligevel er Herrens vrede endnu ikke forbi. Hans hånd er stadig løftet til slag.

Die Leute vom Stamm Manasse stürzen sich auf den Stamm Ephraim, die von Ephraim gehen auf Manasse los, und zusammen fallen sie über Juda her. Und immer noch ist Gottes Zorn nicht gestillt; drohend schwebt seine Hand über diesem Volk.

Manassé dévore Ephraïm,et Ephraïm dévore Manassé,tous les deux vont ensemble |se jeter sur Juda.Mais, malgré tout cela, |son courroux ne s’apaise pas,sa main reste levée.

Bisan ano nga pagkaon ang ila makita sa palibot kuhaon nila kag kaunon, pero indi gihapon sila mabusog. Pagakaunon nila pati ang ila mga kabataan.[i]

Manasse tegen Efraïm en Efraïm tegen Manasse en die beiden tegen Juda. Zelfs door dit alles zal Gods toorn nog niet zijn bekoeld en blijft zijn hand dreigend tegen hen opgeheven.’

À direita devorarão, mas ainda estarão com fome;à esquerda comerão, mas não ficarão satisfeitos.Cada um comerá a carne do seu próprio irmão[c].

Cada qual luta com o seu próximo, para poder roubar-lhe comida, e mesmo assim continuarão a ter fome. Acabarão por comer os seus próprios filhos!

Man sliter åt sig till höger men hungrar fortfarande, man hugger för sig till vänster men får inte nog. Alla hugger in på varandra:

พวกเขาจะเขมือบทางขวาแต่ก็ยังหิวโหยกินไปทางซ้ายแต่ก็ยังไม่อิ่มต่างก็จะเลี้ยงชีวิตด้วยเนื้อลูกหลานของตนเอง[c]

他们到处抢夺食物，仍饥饿难忍，甚至吃自己的骨肉[a]。

有 人 右 边 抢 夺 ， 仍 受 饥 饿 ， 左 边 吞 吃 ， 仍 不 饱 足 ； 各 人 吃 自 己 膀 臂 上 的 肉 。

他們到處搶奪食物，仍饑餓難忍，甚至吃自己的骨肉[a]。
