Isaiah 58:6

“[Rather] is this not the fast which I choose,To undo the bonds of wickedness,To tear to pieces the ropes of the yoke,To let the oppressed go freeAnd break apart every [enslaving] yoke?

Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

“Here is the way I want you to fast. “Set free those who are held by chains without any reason. Untie the ropes that hold people as slaves.Set free those who are crushed. Break every evil chain.

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke,to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

‘Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke,to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

“No, this is the kind of fasting I want:Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you.Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people.

أَلَيْسَ الصَّوْمُ الَّذِي أَخْتَارُهُ يَكُونُ فِي فَكِّ قُيُودِ الشَّرِّ، وَحَلِّ عُقَدِ النِّيرِ، وَإِطْلاقِ سَرَاحِ الْمُتَضَايِقِينَ، وَتَحْطِيمِ كُلِّ نِيرٍ؟

Nej, den slags faste jeg ønsker, er, at I sætter de uretfærdigt anklagede fri, at I fjerner slavernes tunge byrder, at I løser de undertrykte fra deres lænker,

Nein – ein Fasten, das mir gefällt, sieht anders aus: Löst die Fesseln der Menschen, die man zu Unrecht gefangen hält, befreit sie vom drückenden Joch der Sklaverei und gebt ihnen ihre Freiheit wieder! Schafft jede Art von Unterdrückung ab!

“내가 기뻐하는 금식은 압박의 사슬을 풀어 주고 모든 멍에를 꺾어 버리며 억압당하는 자를 자유롭게 하는 것이다.

我 所 拣 选 的 禁 食 不 是 要 松 开 凶 恶 的 绳 ， 解 下 轭 上 的 索 ， 使 被 欺 压 的 得 自 由 ， 折 断 一 切 的 轭 麽 ？
