Isaiah 58:13

“If you turn back your foot from [[c]unnecessary travel on] the Sabbath,From doing your own pleasure on My holy day,And call the Sabbath a [spiritual] delight, and the holy day of the Lord honorable,And honor it, not going your own wayOr [d]engaging in your own pleasureOr speaking your own [idle] words,

If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

“If because of the sabbath, you turn your footFrom doing your own pleasure on My holy day,And call the sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable,And honor it, desisting from your own ways,From seeking your own pleasureAnd speaking your own word,

“Do not work on the Sabbath day. Do not do just anything you want to on my holy day.Make the Sabbath a day you can enjoy. Honor the Lord’s holy day.Do not work on it. Do not do just anything you want to. Do not talk about things that are worthless.

“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day,if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable,and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,

‘If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day,if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honourable,and if you honour it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,

“Keep the Sabbath day holy. Don’t pursue your own interests on that day,but enjoy the Sabbath and speak of it with delight as the Lord’s holy day.Honor the Sabbath in everything you do on that day, and don’t follow your own desires or talk idly.

إِنْ كَفَفْتَ قَدَمَكَ عَنْ نَقْضِ يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ، وَعَنِ السَّعْيِ وَرَاءَ مَرَامِكَ فِي يَوْمِي الْمُقَدَّسِ، وَدَعَوْتَ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ يَوْمَ مَسَرَّةٍ لِلرَّبِّ، وَجَعَلْتَهُ يَوْماً مُكَرَّماً لِلهِ. إِنْ أَكْرَمْتَهُ وَلَمْ تَسْلُكْ حَسَبَ أَهْوَائِكَ أَوْ تَلْتَمِسْ قَضَاءَ مَصَالِحِكَ، أَوْ تُنْفِقْهُ فِي لَغْوِ الْكَلامِ،

Hvis I holder sabbatsdagen hellig og undgår at bruge den til selviske formål, men glæder jer over min hellige dag og gør den til en festdag, hvor I ikke plejer jeres egne interesser,

Achtet den Sabbat als einen Tag, der mir geweiht ist und an dem ihr keine Geschäfte abschließt! Er soll ein Feiertag für euch sein, auf den ihr euch freut. Entweiht ihn nicht durch eure Arbeit, durch Geschäfte oder leeres Geschwätz! Achtet ihn vielmehr als einen Tag, der mir, dem Herrn, gehört.

»Si dejas de profanar el sábado, y no haces negocios en mi día santo;si llamas al sábado “delicia”, y al día santo del Señor, “honorable”;si te abstienes de profanarlo, y lo honras no haciendo negocios ni profiriendo palabras inútiles,

Si, le jour du sabbat, |tu te retiens de travailler,si tu t’abstiens |de traiter tes affaires |en ce jour qui m’est consacré,si pour toi le jour du sabbat |est un temps de délices,si ce saint jour de l’Eternel, |tu le tiens en estimeet si tu le respectesen t’abstenant de faire |ce qui te plaît,de traiter tes affaireset de tenir de longs discours,

“Tumana ninyo ang akon mga ginapahimo sa Adlaw nga Inugpahuway. Indi ninyo paghunahunaa ang inyo kaugalingon lang nga kalipayan sa sinang pinasahi nga adlaw. Ikalipay ninyo ang Adlaw nga Inugpahuway, kag padunggi ninyo ini paagi sa pagpugong sang inyo kaugalingon nga gusto kag kalipayan, kag sa pag-untat sa paghambal sang mga wala sing pulos.

「安息日をきよい心で守り、その日には仕事や趣味に熱中したりせず、喜んで一日を過ごし、主の聖なる日だと喜びをこめて言い、自分のしたいことをせずに無駄口を慎み、わたしをあがめるなら、

여호와께서 말씀하신다. “만일 너희가 내 안식일을 거룩하고 소중한 날로 여겨 여행이나 사업을 하지 않고 오락이나 잡담을 하지 않으면

Als u de sabbat in ere houdt, u niet verdiept in uw eigen zaken en pleziertjes, maar van de sabbat geniet en hem met genoegen ‘de heilige dag van de Here’ noemt en als u de Here met uw doen en laten eert, niet uw eigen verlangens en pleziertjes volgt en niet ijdel praat,

“Se você vigiar seus pés para não profanar o sábado e para não fazer o que bem quiser em meu santo dia;se você chamar delícia o sábado e honroso o santo dia do Senhor,e se honrá-lo, deixando de seguir seu próprio caminho, de fazer o que bem quiser e de falar futilidades,

Se guardarem o santo sábado, não se divertindo nem trabalhando nesse dia, antes honrando-o e tendo prazer nele, como o dia santo do Senhor, honrando o Senhor em tudo o que fizerem, não seguindo os vossos próprios desejos e prazeres, nem mantendo propósitos e conversas ociosas e inúteis,

Dacă îţi vei opri piciorul de la a pângări Sabatul şi de la a-ţi satisface propriile plăceri în ziua Mea sfântă,dacă Sabatul va fi o desfătare pentru tine şi ziua sfântă a Domnului – o zi onorată,dacă o vei cinsti prin a nu merge pe calea ta, prin a nu face ceea ce-ţi place şi prin a nu vorbi lucruri fără folos,

Om du på sabbaten avstår från att göra vad du har lust med på min heliga dag, om du ser sabbaten som en glädje, Herrens heliga dag, värd att ära, om du ärar den och inte följer dina egna önskningar, inte gör vad du har lust till och avstår från tanklöst prat,

“หากเจ้าหยุดเหยียบย่ำวันสะบาโตไม่ทำอะไรตามใจชอบในวันบริสุทธิ์ของเราหากเจ้าเรียกวันสะบาโตว่าวันปีติยินดีเรียกวันบริสุทธิ์ขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าว่าวันอันทรงเกียรติและหากเจ้าให้เกียรติวันนี้โดยไม่ทำอะไรตามใจชอบไม่ทำตามความพอใจของตนเองหรือพูดแต่เรื่องไร้สาระ

“‘如果你们遵守安息日，在我的圣日不做私事，以安息日为乐，尊崇我的圣日，不随意而行，不妄自说话，

你 若 在 安 息 日 掉 转 （ 或 译 ： 谨 慎 ） 你 的 脚 步 ， 在 我 圣 日 不 以 操 作 为 喜 乐 ， 称 安 息 日 为 可 喜 乐 的 ， 称 耶 和 华 的 圣 日 为 可 尊 重 的 ； 而 且 尊 敬 这 日 ， 不 办 自 己 的 私 事 ， 不 随 自 己 的 私 意 ， 不 说 自 己 的 私 话 ，

『如果你們遵守安息日，在我的聖日不做私事，以安息日為樂，尊崇我的聖日，不隨意而行，不妄自說話，
