Isaiah 57:8

“Behind the door and the doorpostYou have set up your [pagan] symbol;Indeed, far removed from Me, you have uncovered yourself,And have gone up and made your bed wide.And you have made a [new] agreement for yourself with the adulterers,You have loved their bed,You have looked [with passion] on their [a]manhood.

Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.

You have set up statues to remind you of your gods. You have put them behind your doors and doorposts.You deserted me. You invited other lovers into your bed. You climbed into it and welcomed them.You made a deal with them. And you looked with desire at their naked bodies.

Behind your doors and your doorposts you have put your pagan symbols.Forsaking me, you uncovered your bed, you climbed into it and opened it wide;you made a pact with those whose beds you love, and you looked with lust on their naked bodies.

وَخَلْفَ الْبَابِ وَقَوَائِمِهِ أَقَمْتُمْ أَصْنَامَكُمْ، وَإِذْ هَجَرْتُمُونِي كَشَفْتُمْ عَنْ مَضَاجِعِكُمْ وَعَلَّوْتُمُوهَا وَوَسَّعْتُمُوهَا، وَأَبْرَمْتُمْ مَعَ أَصْنَامِكُمْ عَهْدَ زِنىً لأَنَّكُمْ أَحْبَبْتُمْ مَضَاجِعَهُمْ، وَتَأَمَّلْتُمْ فِي عُرْيِهِمْ.

Ihr bringt magische Zeichen an der Innenseite der Tür und den Torpfosten an. Von mir aber habt ihr euch abgewandt. Wie eine Hure bezieht ihr euer Bett für einen anderen und richtet es schön für ihn her. Ihr handelt den Lohn aus, und schließlich geht ihr mit ihm ins Bett. Ihr habt sogar noch Spaß an dem, was ihr da seht und tut!
