Isaiah 57:17

“Because of the wickedness of his unjust gain I was angry and struck him;I hid My face and was angry,And he went on turning away and backsliding, in the way of his [own willful] heart.

For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

I was very angry with them. They always longed for more and more of everything.So I punished them for that sin. I turned my face away from them because I was angry. But they kept on wanting their own way.

I was enraged by their sinful greed; I punished them, and hid my face in anger, yet they kept on in their willful ways.

I was angry, so I punished these greedy people.I withdrew from them, but they kept going on their own stubborn way.

قَدْ غَضِبْتُ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ جَشَعِهِ، وَعَاقَبْتُهُ وَحَجَبْتُ عَنْهُ وَجْهِي سَخَطاً، وَلَكِنَّهُ أَوْغَلَ فِي عِصْيَانِهِ وَرَاءَ غِوَايَةِ قَلْبِهِ.

Jeg blev vred over deres grådighed og skjulte mig for dem, men de fremturede bare i deres synd og fortsatte med at gøre, som de ville.

Ich war zornig über mein Volk wegen seiner Habgier. Darum bestrafte ich sie und wandte mich von ihnen ab. Aber sie taten weiterhin, was sie wollten, und gingen ihre eigenen Wege. 18-19 Ich sah ihre Taten genau. Und doch will ich ihnen wieder zurechthelfen und sie führen. Die Trauernden werde ich trösten; ein Freudenlied lege ich ihnen in den Mund. Dann werden sie alle in Frieden leben, ob in der Nähe oder in der Ferne, denn ich will mein Volk heilen. Das verspreche ich, der Herr.

わたしは怒って、貪欲な者たちを打った。ところが、彼らは性懲りもなく罪を犯し続け、思いのままに悪の限りを尽くした。

내가 그들의 죄와 탐욕 때문에 분노하여 그들을 벌하고 버렸으나 그들은 오히려 고집을 피우며 계속 자기들 멋대로 행하였다.

M-am mâniat din cauza păcatului lăcomiei lui; l-am pedepsit şi, de mânie, Mi-am ascuns faţa, dar el a continuat, răzvrătit, să umble pe căile alese de inima lui.

Jag blev vred över deras syndiga girighet, jag straffade dem och dolde mig i vrede, men de vände sig bort och fortsatte att gå sina egna vägar.

เราโกรธเพราะความโลภที่เป็นบาปหนาของเขาเราลงโทษเขาและหันหน้าหนีด้วยความโกรธแต่เขาก็ยังคงทำตามใจชอบของตน

他们贪婪的罪恶使我发怒，我惩罚他们，愤怒地转脸不理他们，他们却怙恶不悛。

因 他 贪 婪 的 罪 孽 ， 我 就 发 怒 击 打 他 ； 我 向 他 掩 面 发 怒 ， 他 却 仍 然 随 心 背 道 。

他們貪婪的罪惡使我發怒，我懲罰他們，憤怒地轉臉不理他們，他們卻怙惡不悛。
