Isaiah 57:12

“I will declare your [hypocritical] righteousness and your deeds,But they will not benefit you.

I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.

“I will declare your righteousness and your deeds,But they will not profit you.

You have not done what is right or good. I will let everyone know about it. And that will not be of any benefit to you.

I will expose your righteousness and your works, and they will not benefit you.

Now I will expose your so-called good deeds. None of them will help you.

سَأَتَحَدَّثُ عَنْ بِرِّكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ، وَلَكِنَّهَا لَنْ تُجْدِيَكُمْ نَفْعاً.

Lad mig sige jer en ting: Jeres afgudsdyrkelse vil ikke gavne jer.

Doch ich werde euch nun zeigen, was eure Anstrengungen wirklich wert sind: Alle eure Mühe nützt euch gar nichts!
