Isaiah 55:4

“Listen carefully, I have appointed [b]him [David, representing the Messiah] to be a witness to the nations [regarding salvation],A leader and commander to the peoples.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

“Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples,A leader and commander for the peoples.

I made him a witness to the nations. He became a ruler and commander over them.

See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.

See how I used him to display my power among the peoples. I made him a leader among the nations.

هَا أَنَا قَدْ جَعَلْتُهُ شَاهِداً لِلشُّعُوبِ زَعِيماً وَقَائِداً لِلأُمَمِ.

Jeg gjorde ham til en stor leder og hærfører for at vise min magt over for folkeslagene.

Ich habe ihn dazu bestimmt, vielen Völkern meine Wahrheit zu bezeugen, und habe ihn als Herrscher über sie eingesetzt.

Iată, l-am făcut un martor înaintea popoarelor, un conducător şi un stăpânitor pentru popoare.

Jag gjorde honom till vittne för folken, till furste och härskare över dem.

ดูเถิด เราได้ทำให้เขาเป็นพยานแก่ประชาชาติต่างๆเป็นผู้นำและผู้บังคับบัญชาประชาชาติทั้งหลาย

我使他统管万民，向万民做见证。
