Isaiah 53:4

But [in fact] He has borne our griefs,And He has carried our sorrows and pains;Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken,Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Surely our [e]griefs He Himself bore,And our [f]sorrows He carried;Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,[g]Smitten of God, and afflicted.

He suffered the things we should have suffered. He took on himself the pain that should have been ours.But we thought God was punishing him. We thought God was wounding him and making him suffer.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering,yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.

Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows[a] that weighed him down.And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!

لَكِنَّهُ حَمَلَ أَحْزَانَنَا وَتَحَمَّلَ أَوْجَاعَنَا، وَنَحْنُ حَسِبْنَا أَنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ عَاقَبَهُ وَأَذَلَّهُ،

Vi troede, at hans lidelser var Guds straf. Men det var vores sygdomme han tog på sig, vores lidelser han bar.

Dabei war es unsere Krankheit, die er auf sich nahm; er erlitt die Schmerzen, die wir hätten ertragen müssen. Wir aber dachten, diese Leiden seien Gottes gerechte Strafe für ihn. Wir glaubten, dass Gott ihn schlug und leiden ließ, weil er es verdient hatte.

Ciertamente él cargó con nuestras enfermedades y soportó nuestros dolores,pero nosotros lo consideramos herido, golpeado por Dios, y humillado.

Pourtant, en vérité, |c’est de nos maladies |qu’il s’est chargé,et ce sont nos souffrances |qu’il a prises sur lui,alors que nous pensions |que Dieu l’avait puni,frappé et humilié[b].

Sa pagkamatuod, siya ang nag-antos sang mga kasakit kag mga pag-antos nga para kuntani sa aton.[a] Abi naton ginsilutan siya sang Dios tungod sa iya mga sala.

しかし、彼は私たちの悲しみを負い、私たちの嘆きをにないました。私たちは、彼がそんなに苦しむのは、罪を犯して神に罰せられているからだと思いました。

그는 우리의 질병을 지고 우리를 대신하여 슬픔을 당하였으나 우리는 그가 하나님의 형벌을 받아 고난을 당하는 것으로 생각하였다.

Maar het was ons leed dat Hij droeg, ons lijden drukte Hem neer. Wij dachten dat Hij door God geslagen en vernederd was.

Certamente ele tomou sobre si as nossas enfermidadese sobre si levou as nossas doenças;contudo nós o consideramos castigado por Deus,por Deus atingido e afligido.

Contudo, ele levou verdadeiramente as nossas enfermidades e carregou os nossos sofrimentos. Pensámos que era afligido, castigado e humilhado por Deus.

Într-adevăr, El a luat asupra Lui neputinţele noastre şi a purtat bolile noastre.Noi însă L-am considerat lovit, zdrobit de Dumnezeu şi nenorocit.

Но Он взял на Себя наши немощи и понёс наши болезни.Мы же думали: разит Его Всевышний за Его собственные грехи, бьёт Его – вот Он и мучается.

Ändå var det våra sjukdomar han bar, och våra smärtor tog han på sig, medan vi trodde att Gud straffade honom, slog honom och lät honom lida.

แน่ทีเดียว เขารับความอ่อนแอทั้งหลายของเราและแบกรับความทุกข์โศกของเราไปถึงกระนั้นเรากลับถือว่าเขาถูกพระเจ้าตีคือถูกพระองค์โบยตีและทรมาน

其实祂担当了我们的忧患，背负了我们的痛苦。我们却以为是上帝责罚、击打、苦待祂。

他 诚 然 担 当 我 们 的 忧 患 ， 背 负 我 们 的 痛 苦 ； 我 们 却 以 为 他 受 责 罚 ， 被 神 击 打 苦 待 了 。

其實祂擔當了我們的憂患，背負了我們的痛苦。我們卻以為是上帝責罰、擊打、苦待祂。
