Isaiah 51:22

So says your Lord, the Lord, who is also your GodWho pleads the cause of His people,“Listen carefully, I have taken from your hand the cup of staggering and intoxication,The cup of My wrath;You shall never drink it again.

Thus saith thy Lord the Lord, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

Thus says your Lord, the Lord, even your GodWho contends for His people,“Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of reeling,The [j]chalice of My anger;You will never drink it again.

Your Lord and King speaks. He is your God.He stands up for his people. He says, “I have taken from you the cup of my great anger. It made you unsteady on your feet.But you will never drink from that cup again.

This is what your Sovereign Lord says, your God, who defends his people:“See, I have taken out of your hand the cup that made you stagger;from that cup, the goblet of my wrath, you will never drink again.

هَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ سَيِّدُكِ الرَّبُّ، إِلَهُكِ الَّذِي يُدَافِعُ عَنْ دَعْوَى شَعْبِهِ: هَا أَنَا قَدْ أَخَذْتُ مِنْ يَدِكِ كَأْسَ التَّرَنُّحِ، وَلَنْ تَجْرَعِي مِنْ كَأْسِ غَضَبِي بَعْدُ.
