Isaiah 48:18

“Oh, that you had paid attention to My commandments!Then your peace and prosperity would have been like a [flowing] river,And your righteousness [the holiness and purity of the nation] like the [abundant] waves of the sea.

O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

“If only you had paid attention to My commandments!Then your [h]well-being would have been like a river,And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

I wish you would pay attention to my commands. If you did, peace would flow over you like a river. Godliness would sweep over you like the waves of the ocean.

If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.

If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.

Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea.

لَيْتَكَ أَطَعْتَ وَصَايَايَ لَكَانَ سَلامُكَ كَالنَّهْرِ، وَبِرُّكَ كَأَمْوَاجِ الْبَحْرِ،

Hvis du bare havde adlydt mine befalinger, ville du have oplevet fred og fremgang i overflod.

Ach, hättet ihr doch meine Gebote befolgt! Dann wäre euer Friede wie ein Strom, der nie versiegt. Euer Glück würde sich ausbreiten wie die Meereswellen.

ああ、あなたが、わたしの教えに従ってくれさえしたら、平安は川のように流れ、正義は大波のように打ち寄せるであろうに。

만일 너희가 내 명령에 순종하였더라면 너희 평화가 강물 같고 너희 의가 바다 물결 같았을 것이다.

Och, had u toch maar naar mijn geboden geluisterd! Dan had u vrede gehad als een kalmstromende rivier en als golven van gerechtigheid.

Se tão-somente você tivesse prestado atenção às minhas ordens,sua paz seria como um rio, sua retidão, como as ondas do mar.

Oh! Se tivessem querido dar atenção às minhas leis! Teriam tido paz, sem interrupção, como as águas mansas dum rio correndo tranquilamente; a tua justiça teria sido abundante e forte como as ondas do mar.

真希望你当时肯听我的命令！那样，你的平安必像滚滚河水，你的公义必如滔滔海浪；

甚 愿 你 素 来 听 从 我 的 命 令 ！ 你 的 平 安 就 如 河 水 ； 你 的 公 义 就 如 海 浪 。
