Isaiah 47:8

“Now, then, hear this, you who live a luxuriant life,You who dwell safely and securely,Who say in your heart (mind),‘I am [the queen], and there is no one besides me.I shall not sit as a widow,Nor know the loss of children.’

Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

“Now, then, hear this, you sensual one,Who dwells securely,Who says in [c]your heart,‘I am, and there is no one besides me.I will not sit as a widow,Nor know loss of children.’

“So listen, you who love pleasure. You think you are safe and secure.You say to yourself, ‘I am like a god. No one is greater than I am.I’ll never be a widow. And my children will never be taken away from me.’

“Now then, listen, you lover of pleasure, lounging in your securityand saying to yourself, ‘I am, and there is none besides me.I will never be a widow or suffer the loss of children.’

“Listen to this, you pleasure-loving kingdom, living at ease and feeling secure.You say, ‘I am the only one, and there is no other. I will never be a widow or lose my children.’

فَالآنَ اسْمَعِي هَذَا أَيَّتُهَا الْمُتَرَفِّهَةُ الْمُتَنَعِّمَةُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ، الْقَائِلَةُ فِي قَلْبِهَا: أَنَا وَحْدِي وَلَيْسَ هُنَاكَ غَيْرِي، لَنْ أَعْرِفَ التَّرَمُّلَ وَلَنْ أُثْكَلَ

Men hør nu her, min fine dame! Du sidder så trygt på tronen og siger: ‚Jeg alene er verdens hersker. Jeg ender aldrig som enke. Jeg mister aldrig mine børn.’

Du genusssüchtiges Weib! Noch lebst du sorglos in den Tag hinein. Eingebildet wie du bist, siehst du nur dich, und außer dir zählt nichts. Du sagst: ›Ich werde niemals Witwe sein! Einsam leben, ohne Kinder? Nein, das gibt es nicht!‹ Doch nun hör, was ich, der Herr, dir sage:

Maintenant donc, écoute, |toi la voluptueuse,toi qui trônes, confiante,et qui dis en ton cœur :« Moi, moi et rien que moi !Je ne serai pas veuveet je ne serai pas |privée de mes enfants ! »

ああ、自らを大国だと自慢し、安逸をむさぼり、快楽を追い求める国よ。おまえの罪に対する、わたしの法廷での判決を聞け。おまえは、『私だけが神だ。天地が引っくり返っても、私が未亡人になるわけがない。子どもを失うこともない』とうそぶく。

Acum dar, ascultă aceasta, tu, iubitoare de plăceri, tu, care locuieşti în siguranţă,care te gândeşti: ‘Eu sunt şi nu este alta în afară de mine!Nu voi fi văduvă şi nu voi şti cum e să-ţi pierzi copiii!’

Lyssna nu, du som lever i överdåd, du som sitter så tryggt och säger för dig själv: ’Ingen är som jag! Jag kommer aldrig att sitta som änka eller mista mina barn.’

“淫逸安舒的人啊，听着！你以为天地间唯你独尊，你必不致寡居，也不会遭丧子之痛。

你 这 专 好 宴 乐 、 安 然 居 住 的 ， 现 在 当 听 这 话 。 你 心 中 说 ： 惟 有 我 ， 除 我 以 外 再 没 有 别 的 。 我 必 不 致 寡 居 ， 也 不 遭 丧 子 之 事 。

「淫逸安舒的人啊，聽著！你以為天地間唯你獨尊，你必不致寡居，也不會遭喪子之痛。
