Isaiah 46:7

“They lift it on their shoulders [in religious processions or into battle] and carry it;They set it in its place and there it remains standing.It cannot move from its place.Even if one cries to it [for help], the idol cannot answer;It cannot save him from his distress.

They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.

يَرْفَعُونَهَا عَلَى أَكْتَافِهِمْ وَيَنْقُلُونَهَا لِيَنْصِبُوهَا فِي مَوْضِعِهَا حَيْثُ تَسْتَقِرُّ هُنَاكَ لَا تَبْرَحُ مِنْ مَكَانِهَا، وَإِنِ اسْتَغَاثَ بِها أَحَدٌ لَا تَسْتَجِيبُ وَلا تُنَجِّيهِ مِنْ مِحْنَتِهِ؟

De løfter den op på skulderen og bærer den af sted. Når de kommer hjem, sætter de den på plads, og der bliver den stående, for den kan ikke røre sig ud af stedet. Når de råber om hjælp, svarer den ikke. Den frelser ikke i nødens stund.

Erinnert euch an das, was ich vor langer Zeit getan habe, und nehmt es euch zu Herzen! Ich bin der einzige wahre Gott. Keiner dieser Götter ist mir gleich.

彼らは偶像をかついで運び、下に置くが、それはじっと立ったままで動けない。どんなに祈っても答えがない。拝む者を苦しみから救えない。

Op hun schouders dragen zij hem rond en als zij hem ergens neerzetten blijft hij daar, want hij kan zich niet bewegen! En als iemand tot hem bidt komt er geen antwoord, want die god kan hem niet uit zijn problemen helpen.

Levam-no em procissão, por toda a parte, sobre os ombros. Depois, quando têm de pousá-lo no chão, ele ali fica, porque é uma coisa que não se move. Quando alguém lhe faz rezas, não há qualquer resposta. Aquele ídolo não tem a capacidade de livrar seja quem for da tribulação.

De lyfter den på axeln och bär den, ställer ner den på sin plats, och där står den oförmögen att röra sig. Om man ropar till den får man inget svar. Den kan inte rädda någon ur hans nöd.

เขายกมันขึ้นบนบ่าแบกไปเขาตั้งมันไว้ประจำที่ รูปนั้นก็อยู่ที่นั่นเพราะมันขยับเขยื้อนไม่ได้แม้มีคนสวดอ้อนวอน มันก็ไม่ตอบมันไม่สามารถช่วยให้เขาพ้นทุกข์ได้

他们把神像抬起来扛在肩上，找个地方把它安置好，它就在那里呆立不动。人向它呼求，它不能回应，也不能救人脱离困境。
